Have a go yourself, the wrap is cheap and if you mess it up you take it to a pro, if it looks great you have a smug grin & a beer
+
And if it looks crap, I can still have a beer to make myself feel better
-
Ill have a look into that, about Half an hour from me.

I want to get a few bits on the Zed wrapped (mirrors, lip etc) in black. So as above has anybody got any experience of wrappers in the Basingstoke area, or are there any good DIY wrappers local to me in the forum wanting to earn a bit of pocket money?
-
If you PM me some details as to what extent of a wrap you'd like I can give you a quote.
Note that the offer in that link expired in June 2011!
I'll send a Pm over.
No sure 8k is going to be enough for a white one, unless you find a JDM or galatic mileage 313?
Most other white Zeds seem to have been molested so badly that you'd spend 1000's putting them right (Or a better option, some petrol and a match)... ala the Pistonheads example...
Don't get me wrong, I think white is a good colour for the Zed, it just seems to attract people with a certain "taste", which me no likey!
I'm with paddy on this one, I really do love white Zeds however a large percentage of the ones I see for sale seem to be molested with bling rather than tasteful mods.

If you want speed, how about getting an older Honda Fireblade? I know it's a bike, but for speed and its sensation, nothing really come close to a bike
+1, bikes are a different realm though.

Impreza STI, or if you can put up with the running costs then an evo. 10k will get you a very fast AWD turbo saloon with loads of tuning potential to keep your interest up. Bang for buck there's not alot else.

I would have a DC5 if they weren't so expensive. They hold their value very well.
Agreed,........extortionate used prices for what they are. Only thing that put me off
Yep literally the only thing putting me too. A few supercharged ones knocking about aswell.

I'm quite short so it was fine for me!
Also need to have your wits about you in the wet

Agreed on the S2000, sold mine last November, great car.

If you could make one for that looks like this: http://jamietuohy.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/paul-d-hairstyle.jpg
I'd be interested.

I've had an ST JDM and now have a UK GT. If you have the choice obviously a UK car is better for the reasons given above. HOWEVER every import car is given a grade when it comes in (A to D I think, 'A' being the best) and this gives a good indication to its earlier days. Mine was an absolute minter and never gave me any troubles at all. Also remember if the older models are imported after a certain year they suffer the higher tax bracket, even if they are the older model year.

The top picture there are some for sale on eBay, how well they fit though I'm not sure. If somebody could do a proper fitting one I would stick my order in.

Im sure my mates was a 1.8! I could be wrong. But I believe the 96 spec is 1.8L buddy!
Yea that's right, DC5 changed to the 2.0 K20 engine and the DC2 was the 1.8 B series.
