  1. *BUMP* I'm up for a quick sale. Can't believe these are still knocking around. Take them off me!
  2. Price drop: £400 to have the full set with all the bits & bobs.
  3. If anyone wants these, I am keen on a quick-ish sale.
  4. knife. tyre. knife. tyre. knife. tyre. knife. tyre. knife. punto badge. knife. fiat badge. key. door. key. bonnet. key. "ASS". where fiat badge used to be.
  5. If anyone is interested, here are some pictures of my new wheels
  6. Never say never... Do-luck rear going on at some point in the not too distant future.
  7. They are 19'' black with red lip.
  8. Thank you CS for helping out with the wheels & MOT this week! They look mint and I've put my Rays for sale here.
  9. Hey guys, Having put a set of Rota GTRs onto my Zed, I've got a full set of Rays alloys for sale. These come with a complete set of nuts, locking nuts & locking key. All wheels are in good condition, have some minor kerbing to the lip and some minor bubbling that all Rays are susceptible to. These would make great track wheels, winter wheels or a replacement set in case you want to sell your car as stock. The fronts still have a bit of tyre left on them, but are worn more on the inside than the outside in general. These will still be good for a track day or two. The rears will need new tyres unless somebody wants to drive around on slicks. I'd prefer pick up, but can deliver to somebody in the Nottingham - Derby - Leicester - Solihull area. I want £400 for the lot ono. That does not include Paypal or any other fees that may be applicable.
  10. I love it. One of my favourites of that class of car.
  11. If somebody offers £350 with either collection within the Midlands or somewhere I can get to reasonably (Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Solihull), then I could be very tempted to part. P.S. the fronts are not as bad as I thought with a couple mil still to go til the tread depth markers.
  12. Went out and splashed a bit of water on one of the wheels. Don't fancy doing all 4 with the weather as it is. This is the rear left wheel. All are in pretty much identical condition and if there is genuine interest, I'll get a few more pictures done. As I mentioned, the kerbing is not extensive and while there is some bubbling, it is also very minor. Ideally, I'd want as close to £400 as possible, but I appreciate that given the condition, there'll have to be some give. Willing to listen to offers.
  13. Hi, I am gauging interest in 4 standard 18 inch Ray alloys as I'm thinking about upgrading. I need to make up my mind pretty quickly, so trying to see what sort of demand there is for these. Pictures will follow if there is any interest, but the basics are: Standard Rays alloys 18 inches All 4 corners going Will need new tyres all round (fronts are borderline, rears are goners) There is some curbing on all wheels on the lip due to previous owner parking on the kerb outside his home. This curbing is on the lip only and should be easily repairable if anyone wants to do that. There is also some very minor bubbling that you get on almost every single Rays alloy. Lastly, I have no idea how much these should fetch, but if anyone has any reasonable offers, I'm all ears.
  14. I'm going to have a dilemma come June when my insurance runs out. I'm turning 25 in November and have no idea whether it's worth getting another year's worth of insurance with somebody else or whether it would be cheaper (and if so, then how and who would do this?) to insure for the 4 months and then go to Chris Knott on my birthday.... hmm... Decisions, decisions.
  15. I'd advise to take the seat apart. That's what I did. It's not all that difficult once you get to it and GCSE Science is more than enough to figure out what the connections underneath there are.
  16. Things like annual miles also do make a huge difference... Mine's expensive, but I do drive the Z a lot.
  17. This happened a few times to me and there is one solution that does work in my case, but takes a lot of balls. In my case, the seat wouldn't recline back after I reclined it forward. After playing with it for a while, I got really annoyed and made it go to a near-undriveable position. Got home, posted on here, took the seat apart, found that the little motor thing jammed ever so slightly and would only rotate one way. Put seat back together. It worked. Next time it happened, I was knowledgeable and did this: ***** I reclined it forward, checking every now and then if it goes back. Eventually, I reclined it a looong way and it began going back at this point. Once it goes back, keep holding the switch and it goes back all the way. ***** This has worked for me on the 3-4 occasions that this has happened so far. If it fails to work though, you won't be able to even get into the car, so apply this at your own risk
  18. Paid £88 for my fill up this morning. Driving on empty FTW!
