Question 1.

I have a green substance in my cooling overflow which is supposedly antifreeze and water mix, now it is running low i am unsure of what product it is and what to replace it with, am i best to get a gallon of new coolant and drain and replace the whole lot?

I have been trawling through this thread and is quite interesting, i had shares in brokers Artemis and Jupiter for 3 years (made a few thousand which served as a deposit on my house)

I had been looking through the construction industry and found that Taylor Wimpey plc (TW.) had dropped throughout the recession from over 100p down to 13p so threw a couple of hundred in for the long term as im sure it will slowly work its way back up.

I use Barclays Stockbroker for this, is this as good as the ones you use, as i am thinking of putting some more down soon.

Could be just something as simple as dirt or seized from the snowy days, i got a tiny tiny sewing needle and gave the exits a poke and while i was there i realigned them to cover the whole window and voilaa!!

Well i have been snooping around on youtube at new methods and saw one interesting one, obviously i will not be using a file or taking anything off as my wheels dont have any laquer on them anyways but lifting up the rear and sanding them with wet and dry do look like and easier job.

your thoughts please?

For the wiper blade i recently needed a new one for the passenger side so i replaced the pair as the other was likely to die soon too.

I have only ever used a pressure washer to get under the wheel arches, maybe use a brush too to ensure its clean and maybe give it a spray with some plastic shine of some kind.

Ah appologies i didnt see your link! And after reading it i take it all back, the links i had seen were basically saying people had been taken threatened and when they were about to go to court it was all dropped (and thrown out of court/ never got there) as the police were using the law in a way it was not meant to be used.

Got me too.. i didnt see that clicky link, Thats my mate who got prosecuted.
