  1. Like yourself Stew, i've fairly sensitive skin and occasionally get a touch of contact dermatitis. however i've found the following items/process work for me Steam from scalding hot shower and exfoliator for getting the pores open (Really should go down the hot towel route). After that the kit i use is:- http://www.origins.co.uk/product/3859/11670/Skincare/Category/Origins-for-Men/Easy-Slider/Pre-shave-oil/index.tmpl Followed by http://www.trumpers.com/product_detail.cfm?ProductID=111547251 applied with http://www.traditionalshaving.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/traditionalshaving/_EDW-BRU-81P37/268139/Pure-Badger-Shaving-Brush-Ivory Oh, and LLF at last two posts Then after :- http://www.origins.co.uk/product/3859/10405/Skincare/Category/Origins-for-Men/Fire-Fighter/To-take-the-burn-out-of-shaving/index.tmpl followed by http://www.boots.com/en/Nivea-For-Men-Sensitive-Moisturiser-75ml_18698/
  2. Spotted and carded in the Asda car park at Milton of Craigie, Dundee
  3. Almost forgot about this http://www.iamsterdam.com/en/visiting/touristinformation/gettingaround/publictransport just watch for cyclists they seem to have their own set of road rules
  4. Lots of great places to eat and drink pretty much on every street. If you're going for Steak, try to find an Argentinian restaurant. A few highlights though... Boom Chicago at Leidseplein for a bit of comedy http://www.boomchicago.nl/boomchicago/, Vondelpark is great for chilling, Villa Zeezicht for apple pie http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/villa-zeezicht-amsterdam-2 and Barney's on Haarlemmerstraat for brekkie and a very different (smoking) menu The Jordaan area should be a must as is the Oud Kerk(Old Kirk), Stedelijk and Rijksmuseum.
  5. to the forum, there is a buying guide in the F.A.Q. section - not sure if this exact question is in there. Hope you find a good one
  6. Road users (not just car drivers) using phones or in-ear music devices and cyclists either not using light when dark or having them flashing. Had a near miss with a cyclist on the edge of the village a while back, who was cycling on the wrong side of the road, wearing dark clothing, had no lights (no hi-viz or reflectors) and was listening to an ipod. Not what you'd expect to see coming towards you on an unlit street at the end of a row of parked cars
  7. +1 and drivers who won't stop behind a parked car forcing you to either slam the brakes on or mount the kerb - like the woman driving at about 40ish in a 20 zone in the village yesterday, who was too busy talking to her passenger.
  8. Yesterday morning on the A92 pulling out of Station Brae Was in the Silver Astra that pulled into the right hand lane to try to let you out.
  9. +1 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/conservative/9176237/Even-Im-starting-to-wonder-what-do-this-lot-know-about-anything.html
  10. Dipstick on the HR is easier to remove and replace
