    Chrome Grill Kit

Just got the packaging out of the bin so here goes Made by HR Auto Comfort Red packaging 3 metres long and 7mm width. Also there is a 3M logo in the top right corner below the HR auto.comfort logo. £9.99. think my details earlier were wrong. So ammended them to.
  3. Bob, the problem with the 350z is any performance mods made to car are cancelled out by the ECU over a period of time. I'm not sure what is done with the ECU when SC or TT is installed but Dorian(prescience) may advise you on that part. If you are thinking of some other performance mods then you would need to consider something like the UTEC which basically prevents this from happening. see this link for more info. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=797
  4. What no spotted car applied. Tut Tut.
  5. Yes it was me. Thought on the off chance I might spot you coming out of Oulton park. Yours looked nice and clean to and cool number plate. Told you I would spot you sooner or later Although after seeing you drove into rain. Got home and had to wash the car again. The missed thinks I'm bonkers. You know how it is.
  6. If I wanted practicallity I would of bought an MPV. Think the rear strut is a big advantage. In the Audi TT sport they added this and did away with the tiny rear seats to improve handling.
  7. mate Good to have you aboard. Nice looking motor

Not totally. Didn't do the vertical bits. I'm sure you were the first anyway
  10. Have to disagree. I work with many TV production companies and the BBC is far bettre at doing decent stuff. If you wanna watch countless top 100 programs on independent channels. Then fine cos that is most of the indepenents output at the mo.
  11. This richening will be happening when the ECU is in OPEN LOOP mode i.e from about 80% throttle; primarily the MAF detects more airflow and more fuel is injected as a safety precaution - negating the top end gains. In CLOSED LOOP mode (in the low and mid-range), the ECU achieves stochiometric (think that's the word) balance of 14.7 AFR using feedback (hence OPEN LOOP) from the O2 sensors constantly perforimig fuelling adjustments many times a second. But at a given RPM, you are flowing more air and this will achieve more power (all in balance). and in english please
  12. Well it just won best second hand coupe 2006. So that will certainly help maintain good prices. The article said that it had low depreciation and with limited numbers, it's all good come resale time.
  13. Nissan 350z wins Best Coupe in Auto Express Used Car Honours 2006. It beats triple champion Audi TT off its perch. Also commended was the Hyundai Coupe. To sum up they say that it had to win. The panel agreed that for shear desirability, few cars can touch the Nissan at any price, let alone £20,000. Honda S2000 came recomemded along with Porshe Boxter in the Best Roadster catagory with the Mazda MX-5 winning. The judges were unanimous in their praise for the stunning coupe. Judges were Jeff Paterson, senior cars editor of Glass's Guide. Mike Brewer, the motor-trader turned TV presenter. Graham Smith, a general manager for British Car Auctions and three journalist from Auto Express. David Johns - editor in chief, Dan Strong - motoring editor and Ross Pinnock - used cars editor.

    Chrome Grill Kit

Comes with a 3M sticky back. Just need tom use a hair dryer (I used the misses cos I've got no hair) to warm the chrome strip up to make it more pliable for the acute bends. Took 20 mins in all. Also you use a hole pack to do the horizontal bars. If you wanted to do the verticsal bits inbetween you would need another pack. Halfords do two different widths. Use the wider one. 7.5mm I think. Its made by HR Auto Comfort and its 3 metres by 7.00mm. Stay clear of the other stuff which they sell. Japanese instructions only
  18. mate and enjoy the forum Sorry I cant be much help but someone will be along who has more experince with the problem your having. If it's the standard fit unit and not an aftermarket item, the only thing I can tell you is that the sat/nav part is not much use over here and it can't be altered without spending alot of money and ripping most of it out anyway. I'll move this topic to the ICE section.

Its not a join. Its in the hopefully unlikely event of needing a tow, I dont have to take the stuff off to apply tow hook. So their is a separte peice for that pull out bit of the grill.
  21. As well as washing and waxing the car today. I finally got round to applying the Chrome Kit (Halfords 9.99) to the grill. Some of you have already done this but for the benefit of those that haven't and wish to know what it looks like, I've taken some pics.
