It's because the ECU learns any mods and cancels them out. Unless you put on a piggyback ECU.

have you checked out the cost of them. Think there not cheap. Seem to remember 2 grand unless you know of some 2nd hand set.

not sure but most auto's that have a sport mode on the box, it lets you stay in gear for longer before chaning when you've got the foot down
