A small minority of owners have had problems with gearboxes. If under warranty they've have had them repaired or in some cases completely replaced the box.

Dave General opinion is you can save yourself alot of money if you go for a JDM. A couple things to consider are re-sale and insurance. Check out the JDM Imports section. Many if your questions will be there.

I've got a Tamiya Mini Cooper - Monte Carlo (electric) up in the loft collecting dust. If any body is interested, make me an offer. Comes complete with all radio control gear and charger and has a spare body shell as the one on has a crack on it after driving into a fence post.

On the Audi TT they used to rip/perferate as they were not of the best quality. It was a common fault with them. Seem to remember a replacemnt was £40 plus labour.

Scon It seems a tad expensive given its mileage but then you are paying for the convience of a trader with the px. I would hope to get a 04 for that price. Keep looking and one will turn up. Don't be rushed into it and keep an eye out on the 'For Sale' section where some are already for sale.

The insurance company should ask you whether its a GT or not and also ask you what is its value. Would of thought you would have everthing covered then.

Parked in a NCP carpark with alzean leather interior & rays. Car had holdcroft sticker on the rear window and some very dirty exhausts. Spotted and carded.

You'll need a hairdryer to warm the stuff up to get it nice and flexible. Also may be handy to have some superglue. Some members have had it lift off in the corners where it bends at quite an acute angle. Little dab of superglue and it will sort it aswell as sticking your hand to the grill
