    perhaps it is what beavis said where the phone is automatically turning blue tooth off. May be worth watching the phone to see what it does when the 5 mins is up. Out of interest is the blue tooth still switched on on the phone after its disconnected from the adapter

    sounds like your loosing connection with the BT adapter. Try putting the phone in the storage box beside the BT adapter and see if you still loose connection. Had this problem with my last nokia occasionally, but know got a new phone and the Bluetooth software has improved and have no problem anymore.

    Just checked your pics and looks like yours isn't a MY06 so looks like your gonna have to pay the £99.

    As stew pointed out, if your car is MY06 then you should get the BT free. Go back to the dealers and get one. They should of already fitted it but it seems some dealers are a bit slow on realising that this should be fitted before delivery.

    did you go out in the car with a engineer with you to show them the problem your having. Sometimes connecting a diagnostics computer doesn't tell you all. Sounds electrical or sensor to me but not sure

    Interesting. Why on earth do they do silvo then. Perhaps brasso is more concentrated. Will bear it in mind.
