  2. added as a sticky to the Technical area
  3. Below is a link to all officially released Technical Service Bulletins for the Nissan 350Z. Check here to see if problems you are having are acknowledged by Nissan or to prevent some of them from occurring late http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Category:TSB
  4. try Chris at JDMPerformance, he has access to Nissan catalogue but can get parts cheaper. Also BigPhil at ESR may be able to help. Evene cheaper if yoy can get a recon one but I wouldn't know where to go
  5. +1 think they are about £175
  6. could of been worse, at least it wasn't a drive away with no insurance details left
  7. true but reckon they will still stay no and if your very lucky they will just respray them rather than a complete swap for new ones
  8. even one of the press cars had to have a engine change with the problem
  9. I think BigPhil does them
  10. service is every 9000 miles or 12 months, which ever comes first. service manual is availabe from the guides section. Depends on how old your car is to say which service but could be a P1 if your car is a 54 plate. I would double check though to se if it had the P3 last time as this is a major service and not one to be skipped by the previous owner or dealer
  11. from what I understand the JDM models are the same as the Irish models. Bluetooth has been done with the parts required just over in Dublin more info here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0
  12. mainly why i posted, for any diy'ers Well easy to make if you have the materials and tools. you could be the new Spill, Dave
  13. to the club main diff is full leather seats and electric slide and tilt, cruise control, and Bose stereo with sub. If you're going to mod then buy the non GT, other consideration is GT models do sell on better than non GT. Power is the same on both models.
  14. That might depend on how long he plans to keep his Z though, perhaps. who can predict the future, something may come round the corner and force him to sell it. It will be very hard to shift with a DIY service history, until the Z gets very cheap and even then who's gonna take a gamble with something that could be very expensive to repair
  15. the ones on ebay looks like they have a Japspeed logo on but on their webiste this exhuast isn't listed http://www.japspeed.co.uk/exhausts-242-c.asp
  16. the main control unit goes underneath the floor in the upper glovebox behind the passenger. It does store the names and the voice recognition. It is for JDM cars, UK cars came with it as standard fit,
