it seems to be a common fault appearing with older cars where the pipe joins the rear box

someone had there welded to repair the blow where the pipe joins the rear box

Just picked it up. Excellent job. Cost £196. I supplied my own oil and it doesn't require an air filter. Free courtesy car and no need to sort out insurance swap over for the day. Very helpful and friendly staff. So if your in the north west area I highly recommend these guys. They even rang me to say the couldn't get the dust caps (mine are lockable ones) off to check the air pressure which I thought was a good test after watching a watchdog programme. Lockwood & Greenwoods ar doing huge savings on servicing now they are no longer part of the Nissan dealership. Someone's been reading EVO... Actually I would have said that the overstyled lights and generally overwrought detailing on the 370Z were quite Hyundai-esqe. agreed with there point
