i actually needed to replace the rear pads before the front. They start to break up when they get old see here for more info viewtopic.php?f=59&t=17087

there is a little metal flange thingy on OEM pads that when the pad is worn, will rub against the disc Does it look like a clip? like a L shape thin piece of metal

looks brillliant. The attention to detail with the squatted flies on the mirrors is just awesome

pads are always slightly on even when your not braking. Perhaps they are so low the the wear indicator is making its noise. First place i'd check anyway.
