you need to pair it with your phone. Search for the device on your phone while the bluetooth adaptor is flashing yellow. Then once found (comes up as Nissan 350z) you will need to enter the pairing number. 1234

had this too. Firstly try the reset as Renegade posted link. Then check all connectors under seat, re-sit them. Then if still fails it will be the loom in the rear part of the seat. Happened on mine. It got crushed against the frame of the seat. Had the crused but cut out and re-soldered back together. Garage identified my problem. Cost £45 to repair. Resistor as Alex pointed out will turn off the light but also keep the airbag turned off.
