you can reset it yourself. There is a how to in the guides section. Its very easy just by using the key in the ignition.
If the problem does re occur it may be a loose connection under the seat. Re seat the connectors. If still no joy it could be a trapped loom in the back of the seat which is getting damaged. Repair with a bit of soldering, should cost around £40

Do you know if there is a release catch or something like that to enable me to lift the seat of the rails or is there a straight forward way of getting to the cables? I need all the help I can get here as I can get one hand under the seat but not both as needed to reseat the connectors.

thinkthis is the same guys who were on ebay,
basically all they are using from the JDM SatNav is the screen, the rest is all new kit. One member did make a enquiry some time back and it wasn't cheap, around £900 from what I recall
