it goes back to before bluetooth. Different adaptors were made for different brand of phones. Think there was around 5 versions. Along came bluetooth. Instead of all new system and better for those who still had the base units but just needd to buy a new bluetooth adaptor which plugged into to the same base unit. It does make it cheaper for the owner.

may of had a faulty seal. water has been known on very rare occasions to leak a run down into the BCM. It may be worth checking the BCM to see if it has had water on it. Can be expensive to replace so if bought from a dealer it would be worth it.

it made me boil yesterday when on the BBC news they interviewed a chap on the march in London. He proclaimed that we should look at the businesses (in the march) around him and justified that being paid less was a good reason for fighting for his pension. Bull. Hundreds of thousand of people are paid just the minimum statutory rate per hour with no pension. Wake up and join the real world. You get no annual increase and long have gone the days of good pay rates for the large majority. Not have a go at anyone here, this is just my opinion
