it depends how competent you are. Its not too difficult. It shouldnt take longer than a hour to have a look. You'll need to slacken off the handbrake before removing the drum. You find a access point on the disc/drum to turn the wheel. When putting it all back together you'll need to tweak back up the handbrake so it just very slightly rubs. Perhaps before you take it off spin the disc to get an idea of the friction, you may even feel where its binding after leaving it on for a month
