  1. Thanks Pimm. I think your bloody right mate! When do you want to play with the D1 then?
  2. Wouldn't have minded but it's your bloody job!
  3. But get a stubby............
  4. All is revealed. viewtopic.php?f=119&t=28877 Really works and (unlike Abbey re-tune) you can sell if for £90 or so in a couple of months. Good value at £30 for all that fun.
  5. Sorry Woody. Love your car but EPIC fail on spelling.
  6. +1 Ooohh........nurse......where's my credit card. That is so near to how I want my 350 to end up. Not a fan of black side skirts but want blacked-out front, (hate Sunset bar under grille) exposed tow hook, black wheels, black/orange N1 spoiler and maybe black roof. Thanks Ian and Woody and everybody for your help.
  7. It's about £350 and it does so much more than the SLD HKS stuff. I have researched a lot and once I've done my engine/exhaust mods I'll be at Abbey. If you want big fun in the meanwhile, get yourself a D1 Spec throttle controller for £120.
  8. 112mph. Best way is to get it seen to by Abbey and go all the way to 155 +. Japanese Domestic Market?
  9. Thanks Woody. I like the red lip - not sure it's going to work on Sunset with a black/orange Nismo N1 and (possibly) black handles. One quick way to find out would be a photoshop of them on your car. I think it will work, but thats my opinion. You may not like it Already done it on Rare Rims. You can put any rim on a piccie of your own car. That's why I don't really (like REALLY) like it. It's an 8.5 out of 10 with the red lip. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I was just looking in to how much it would be to get to 10/10.
  10. Thanks Woody. I like the red lip - not sure it's going to work on Sunset with a black/orange Nismo N1 and (possibly) black handles.
  11. Ok...ok...just paint the whole wheels red Get me some Tenna Ladies, I'm pissing myself. Now will all you budding Tommy Coopers **** off and let me talk to nice chaps who have painted their lips. Like these two.
  12. OK - your girlfriend looks a bit ruff.
  13. As much as I'm loving the funnies, any useful help would be, er.......useful.
  14. 19†staggered fitment, flat black with rep lip… Combien?
  15. Are these 19" and are they gun metal or flat black? Ta.
  16. Do you know the '56 Kuros with black wheels? Quite distinctive.
  17. As long as it includes the B4560, I'm there..........
  18. Bit of an epic journey today. Weston-super-mare to Monmouth via Tintern (A466) Then keep going to Wormelow and then across to Hay-on-Wye on B4348. A438 to Talgarth and then A479 to Tretower. Around here somewhere saw '56 Kuros with black wheels. Nice wave and on. Then the Top Gear-tastic B4560 South from Llangynidr including tussle with heavily modded (roll cage, twin exhaust) Eunos Roadster. He was quicker on corners but in a straight line no contest. Very scary though as outside temperature read 2 degrees and some of those bends were not for this time of year. The on A465/A470 North again to Brecon and here picked up a '53 Azure with (I think) female driver for a v. quick blast along A40 to Abergavenny. A4042 to Newport and then M4 and home. Saw GM coming towards me going North on M5 at Weston-super-Mare and then to top it off, another GM leaving Weston. You S. Wales owners are very lucky to have these roads and I'll be back many times over the Summer. Sorry if I've got some of the roads/places wrong but some of the signs seemed to be going past quite quick today.
  19. Yes - but you mean replacing the whole unit for £250. I'm looking for pics etc where people have put LED bulbs in existing unit.
  20. A couple of hundred to paint the lips??? Are you sure? Are you saying it's better to re-do the whole wheel? I've been offered the GTRs for £650 so that takes it to £850ish which is only about £100 off brand new.
  21. How easy is it to paint this lip? I've been offered a set of 19" GTRs in flat black with red lip but don't want the lip. Vendor says "all you do is key, mask and paint" the lip but I wouldn't know where to start. Can I have answers from people that have done this or something similar. How much would I expect to pay a paint shop for this if DIY is too difficult? Thanks.
  22. It's tricky, isn't it? AFAIK the "Ferrari" badge has stayed the same for decades and so has the badge of other makes, irrespective of how modern or different their successice models look. I like it as a badge and think it looks good on the blue Z above. Miles better than the burger or the Halfordesque Tommy Whatshisname badge IMO. Will look out for a vintage/replica badge and decide when I see how much they are!
  23. Thanks. Just Googled to try and answer my own question and found a similar picture. I like it...........I think?!!?! But would it cover the burger holes?
  24. Has anybody got pics of centred FairladyZ badge? Hate the burger and wondered what it would look like if I took it off and covered the holes with the Fairlady badge? Ta.
  25. I want rear LEDs but at £250 my mods list is now over £3000 (wheels.tyres.exhaust.wing.paint jobs.plenum spacer. air filter. etc. etc.) so I want to reduce cost where possible. I've seen people talk about fitting LED bulbs in to original lights but has anybody done it and have the got pics? Thanks.
