  1. You're a superstar. How's that study looking? Don't want to get blamed for distracting you. Rota's arrive tomorrow and rubber later in week and then there's Nurrish's mega-brake set up going on and then the aluminium grille and the Scorpion so I think you'll be round quite a bit over next week or so having a look as each bit goes on......................
  2. Thanks for that. Remind me to give you a Chinese burn, a running deadleg and turbo-wedgie next time we meet. Had the battery of super charge for 5-6 hours. Popped it back in and everything OK. Don't know why it was dead earlier. Perhaps the car went in to "I'm being stolen" mode as it was very similar to the immobilser kicking in. Have bought a new battery from our f®einds at Halfords (£89 ) and will take it back tomorrow if the car starts in the morning. Thanks to all for your suggestions and concern.
  3. There appear to be 5 fuses attached to the + terminal (4 underneath and 1 just on the top right) all appear fine. I'll check the ones in the engine bay a little later as have to go out. Hate to say this, but where are the fuses inside the car mentioned above?
  4. Ta. How do I check the voltage across the battery? Do you mean via the dial on the dash? And if I've fried the alternator? Any idea of cost? Last. Do you think I've done something to the immobiliser? G/F reckons that's what I've done.
  5. Flat battery this morning. It was turning over the starter motor but just clicking. Went and got the charger which also does jump starts. (It's got a "fast/start" function) Left the battery in the car and then connected the charger to THE WRONG TERMINALS!!! I noticed this before I restarted and quickly turned off the charger. I re-connected the charger correctly but when I turned the ignition the car is completely dead. No lights on the dash and no turnover of the starter motor. Have I done something expensive?
  6. How much was the total minus the MOT? Thanks
  7. Give it to me or the kitty gets it. Big Al
  8. Black aluminium mesh grille - £15 http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/gallery/image.php?image_id=435
  9. +1 Really want a copy of the Chargespeed bumper/diffuser. Any comments from people who have copies fitted??
  10. & Spacers And a Honda stubby..............
  11. Chargespeed rear is epic. Who cares about the square rear bumper. Tell me this is naff.............
  12. Of course there are the externals. Black aluminium mesh grille, Chargespeed rear bumper and diffuser, smoked rear lights, removal of burgers/side indicators, Nismo N1 spoiler in black and sunset.................. Maybe not all this week. Oh.....and the exhaust and visit to Abbey.
  13. She's as cool as. She said "spend whatever you want" and is even buying me some track-day lessons as a pressie so I don't kill myself in Germany.
  14. Deal done on the ET12s. Tyres coming from GT4 Zed. MPS2 - 275 rear 245 front. Brakes coming from Nurrish. Front and rear Brembo Calipers, DBA 5000 discs on the front, DBA 4000 discs on the rear, Ferodo DS-2500 Brake Pads all round, Hel Carbon Brakes Lines Suspension being investigated. Bank manager looking over shoulder.
  15. GM. Getting advice from the suppliers that ET12 and lowered may be an issue but others saying it's fine. They've just taken the ET30s off the lorry as I'm not sure whehter to go 100% safe with the 30s but look less or go with the 12s and risk some rubbing.
  16. Thanks Digsy. I'm going to have them fitted and do the suspension improvements and then see how it looks. I'm definately tracking it this year and if it has to look 20% less but goes round corners better and/or doesn't rub, I'll stick with it. Of course looking and going round corners like is the preferred option.
  17. £650. Cheap Just spoken to Duncan at Toxic Rides who are sending the wheels. He has DEFINATELY recommended the ET30s and say the ET12s will cause problems with lowering and track days. He said a mixture of ET12, lowering and the Carousel at Nurburgring (he's been a few times) will not be good. Must say their service/knowledge sounded impeccable and would recommend them. They were £100 cheaper than Rare Rims on the Rotas. http://www.toxicrides.co.uk/
  18. You know it isn't. You've got some of it. Do you reckon the wheels will be ok with that offset and lowering??
  19. Hi bud, Just spent £1950 on wheels/tyres/brakes and £1300 to go on suspension/exhaust/Uprev. Please come round and put a gun to my head.......................
  20. It is a bit Crossfire from some angles though
  21. I've just ordered these but subsequently read posts where people (Steady Zeddy) have suffered from rubbing issues and others (nrenz123) who have not. I plan to lower the car using Eibach Pro Spring Kit which will take it down 30mm. Tyres will be 275 on the back. Any comments from wheel experts or people with experience of this set up?
  22. Thats not a million miles away from Rota money.... Not sure I understand Stew. I like the Drifts and they are about £850. Price is fine but I would prefer them in flat black and 19" - which they don't do. Mind you, after seeing this piccie I'm close to buying them. Of course these are the original Works wheels.
  23. Anybody? Looking for 18 or 19" flat black rims (with no red lips ) as similar as possible to the Rota Torque Drifts. Budget £800 - £900
