  1. See 4 posts up. Got the spigot rings but the nuts are rubbish so need quality replacements. Just don't like the idea of spending £80 + for them.
  2. Seems like "cool" nuts (16 normal and 4 locking) cost £80 - £90 for slimline aluminium gunmetal/black. Anybody got or seen some that don't cost £4 each.
  3. I haven't been in a Physics classroom for 31 years but that is a really bad idea. Ask Sir Isaac Newton (1642 - 1727): Three Laws of Motion Newton's First Law of Motion states that in order for the motion of an object (Clio) to change, a force must act upon it (camera car), a concept generally called inertia. (or crashing) Newton's Second Law of Motion defines the relationship between acceleration, force, and mass. (A bloody great crash) Newton's Third Law of Motion states that any time a force acts from one object to another, there is an equal force acting back on the original object. (Hello God) "I ain't gettin' in the way of those muthas. Fo' sure........."
  4. Imagine being the driver of that Clio and being pinned to the radiator going 70 MPH sideways. I bet she was thinking In the words of Alex Ferguson, "squeeky bum time"........................
  5. From the outside, yes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQsODMuhWOc On the inside, it was a similar noise to me putting my head in Steve Harris's bass bin at a 1981 Iron Maiden gig when I was 17. Never been the same since......................

  7. Panic over. Seems it would have been a good idea to open all 4 boxes and then look for spigots/nuts before posting. However, the nuts are "shi*e and will rust" (words of the company selling the rims) so now I need to source some nice gunmetal or black locking replacements.
  8. Just gone for a test fit as the rims are in but waiting for the rubber. Of course it's not simple! The JDM nuts will are too big so I need 20 slimline gunmetal nuts. Secondly, the wheels do not sit flush on the hub (centre hole several mm larger than hub) so all the weight of the wheel will only be supported by the bolts so I need "spigot rings" according to the fitter - which he doesn't have. Are these the same as spacers?? Surely the last thing I need is spacers with an offset of ET12? All suggestions welcome.
  9. Looks like someone has already stolen your wheels and she's smuggled a set of wheel nuts up her jumper
  10. I've just bought a set of 18" Rota Torque Drifts to replace my 17" JDMs. The car will look like this in 48 hours: Having never bought rims before, I'm assuming the standard bolts/nuts will work but I guess an upgrade in looks and security would be welcome. (I street park) Any suggestions?
  11. Up early?? Must be posting my rubber........
  12. I was but got my head turned by the cat-back Blueflame. Have you checked out their site and videos? http://www.blueflameperformance.com/pra ... 0&pageid=3 I think the look/sound/power gains/price combo is excellent. Any opinions would be welcome.
  13. www.motorsportworld.co.uk £491.87 delivered is best so far. Anyone beat that??
  14. Has anybody got a decent quality clip of the sound of the Blueflame? Their own clips on their website are atrocious and the YouTube selction not much better. A nice close-up still of the end pipe would be good as well. Also, there seem to be a variety of sources. Simply - where's cheapest??
  15. if a bull had tits it would be a cow.
  16. According to everybody I've called, Japanese-size terminal batteries are only available up to 330CA. Someone reckons he can get 420CA but we'll see It arrives tomorrow.
  17. AAAAAARRRRGGHGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Gone again so battery must be dead. However, need a JDM-style battery with smaller terminals as Nissan say they can't get UK ends for the + and - leads for 3-6 weeks. Where can I source a battery with narrow terminals with a proper CCA (450 to 510 range) in next 24 hours?? Lots of local suppliers and Halfords have the 330 CCA but I'll only get that as a last resort. Thanks.
  18. I want to know what mod is in store for the bath................
  19. Nice camera work. What camera/lens have you got and was there any post-processing?
  20. Grille £19 delivered with hooks. See ZMANALEX and his sale in the Traders section. Stubby £10- £15 on ebay (look for used Honda S2000 aerieal) Spoiler? I like the Nismo V1 (if you're rich) or the N1 copy. £350 to buy and £150 to fit and paint.
  21. Don't get any of that pink stuff on my calipers you rascal.
  22. Just bought 84,000 RRL shares. There's a "drink" for you when they reach 5p Don't hold your breath. 10% down since purchase.
  23. Should I keep the battery on fast charge overnight? It's got 5 LEDs on the front and the green one at number 5 is bright green next to the word MAX whilst it's charging (now). When I turn off the charger but leave the battery connected to it, the LED light drops back to number 3 and goes amber. This suggests the battery is half-charged but the instructions are half English and half space-martian having been badly translated.
