I think you'll find those with an auto will prefer the auto and those with a manual will..........................well you get it. I've got an auto as it's a daily driver so sometimes need to just chill. If it was a weekend car, then manual definately.
-
Thank AK350Z for the piccie and the geniuses who make Photoshop CS3. Like I said, there are some really good photos above that just need a little tweaking.
-
No, sorry! All done on my Cannon A570 in auto mode. If i let it do it's auto metering thing pointing at a darker part of the scene first, I get pics like this though: Didn't put it in with the first lot, as I thought it was a bit dark. Also, as Colin has filled in for me, a lowered Zed is impossible round here, so standard it stays. You're compositional sense is too good for that camera. It can take nice photos but I would say you are better than that looking at the above snaps. Look on e-bay for any second hand Canon or Nikon DSLR and upgrade. I've got a Nikon D200 which cost £350. Here's a completely MINT one for £425: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NIKON-D200-DSLR-c ... 1e5b4987c8 The photo above is MUCH better than the original one you posted as you can turn it in to this: Just 10 minutes fiddling with exposure and white balance and some cropping and voila! I could make it REALLY nice if you send me the original full-size file as it's a brilliant photo.
-
The sky on the right was completely blown. The end result was made of 5 exposures with the most extreme being 4 stops less than the original snap. If you look closely, you can see where some "repeat" clouds have appeared to cover up the original "blown" whiteness............. Also, the side of the car is completely blown and was unrescueable. Like I say, this was 15 minutes work. If I felt like it, and given a few hours, the pic could look really Anyway, don't want to hi-jack the thread so back to the excellent photos from the OP.
-
RAW files rock. They do use a lot of disk space but are invaluable when you make mistakes with exposure, white balance etc.
-
Just to show you the potential end result. Before. Completely blown sky and other highlights. (Similar to some of yours) After. Made 3 "new" exposures in CS3 and merged all 4 to HDR. Took about 15 minutes.
-
Some nice compositions in there. A little fill flash and less exposure at the time (or use of HDR in post-processing) would make Number 5 a stunner. What format is the file in? If RAW things can stil be done...................

Photoshop. 30 mph and no sign of impact, glass, skidmarks etc??

.......and the new price is???

Can those who have expressed an interest then post what stock they have, their average buy price and current price and what they intend to do in the future. Also, any tips which you haven't bought and are tracking. MNR. Average buy 71.5. Now at 82.25. Holding until they let Walbrook in the City. Hoping for 150 within 12 months. MML. Average buy 208. Now at 231. Holding whilst the Chinese keep on buying gold. Exit point 300? CEY. Average buy 106. Now 127. Gold again so same strategy as above. Exit point 180? LSL. Average buy 271. Now 277. Have contacts in company so knew about buy-out of Halifax. Sold at 310 and re-entered 40 points lower. Chairman VERY bullish about 400 + in next 12 months. Biggest mistake? Bought RMV at 200 a year ago, sold at 280 last summer. Stock now 600. Could have made £20k + Also, not buying GKP before they went mental and became a 12-bagger (went from 10 to 120 from July to October last year) Not tracking anything as the price of a decent Boxster tied up in MNR and therefore spend a lot of time on the toilet........ No need for toilet today!! MNR hit 105 on rumours of letting their prestige building (Walbrook) in the City to Lloyds or Bloomberg. Strong talk of £2 so anybody with some spare cash ought to bung some of their 2010/2011£10,200 ISA allowance in to this one IMHO.

Sorry Chesterfield - absolute rubbish. You can't use the same firm as your buyer/vendor unless you are a previous client or they have seperate practises. Gazumping is a myth. Doesn't exist. Never seen someone gazumped in the past 7 years of running an agency. Estate agents (me) are naturally lazy and only want to sell a house once and will discourage another person bidding for a house already sold.
-
www.ashfords.co.uk I'm an estate agent and they do all my deals. They are quick, modern and they don't f**k up like loads of other firms. DO NOT GO CHEAP under any circumstances. You will regret it.

Ha! They won't be there after the 10th 'cos they're mine!! Simon Aren't you on holiday ? I have to agree that "your" gold callipers will look nice peeking through the Rotas and go very nicely with the sunset paint Indeed on holiday but the joys of a Netbook and free wi-fi means that I can keep in touch with my lovely new brakes from 3,000 miles away. Hope Nurrish hasn't got any pink paint on them though...........

Hi bud, Currently enjoying some Tunisian sun (on free beer 7 today at moment ) so will see you w/c 5th April.
-
No chicks. G/F wouldn't like it. Just asked her if she minded having her picture being posted. She said "nobody's going to notice anyway because I'm not draped over the bonnet of 350z" She doesn't want any jokes about rim waxing or rolled arches. We have been drinking. It's all inclusive and that means gin - all bloody day.
-
Hey bud. Hearing you loud and clear from Tunisia. It's hell here but someone's got to do it.

I'm about 90% sure that i'll be getting a blue flame. I really wanted the Nismo but cant justify all that money on an exhaust. The blue flame sounds awesome, so, yep! How much did you get in for dude? and do they fit them at their HQ? I rang them direct and mentioned the distributors that were undercutting them. If you Google "blueflame 350z" and go to Shopping you'll see the two companies Blueflame matched the lowest price. If you go to the distributor, they might palm you off with an older, silenced version which would be As for fitting, they're in Skelmersdale which is where the frightening Northern tribes live and I don't go north of the Cotswolds darling.

Here's an alternative if you want to be rarer and better looking. Looks very well made and the website gives confidence. http://www.blueflameperformance.co.uk/ http://www.blueflameperformance.com/cargallery/#NISSAN/350Z http://www.blueflameperformance.com/prange.php?makeid=70&modelid=376&pageid=6 Expect to pay less than the advertised £595 for the cat-back system as their distributors are providing substantial discounts. I mentioned this to Blueflame and they did me a price. I ended up paying about £70 more than the Scorpion/Japspeed combo. Mines being fitted w/c 5th April so if you can wait, I'll have a good quality vid up soon.
-
They're rubbing already. 70 degree left-hander taken at about 30 mph - a definite "nnnnrrrrr" from rear right for a quarter of a second. How much is this arch-rolling business then? Sounds a bit fiddly? Group buy on arch rolling Will be getting laser alignment with -2 rear camber and see how that goes first. If still probs then it's time to roll.
-
Check out this webiste: http://www.blueflameperformance.com/pra ... 0&pageid=3 I've ordered one for the 350 with an unsilenced mid-pipe. You can choose from two different tips and it's cat-back. Advertised as £595 but a little gentle persuasion got them down to £492 deliverd........... The clips on the site are of the silenced version so the new ones will be a little louder. I'm sure a 370 version will be around soon.

Loving your work! What game's that? Forza Motorsport 3 on a 50" Panny......... Gutted! Got a PS3, not Xbox. Nice set up, is there a steering wheel & pedals too? Oh yes.
