  1. Don't get me wrong, wasn't referring to you as I guess you didn't post the YouTube clip. Seen a similar one where the Hitler shots were cut in with shots of someone answering from an Indian call centre and that made more sense. Anyway, post some more funnies. I'm bored.
  2. Very good. Would be a lot funnier if the word "Indian" was removed from the YouTube clip because the guy at the other end is.........er..........not Indian. I'm as right-wing and as anti-PC as they come but this is surely a joke about lazy IT Support teams (you know who you are )and not about incompetent call centres based on the sub-continent??
  3. See the sig. £795 but I have seen them cheaper by almost £100 about 3 days after I bought them. They are ET12 and there are some minor rubbing issues. You might want a less agressive offset and use spacers.
  4. You did more than enough. Enough for two in fact. Hope it didn't end in divorce and everything was cool back at the ranch. The brakes are fine and dandy. Needed to be as did 110 miles in 1hr 20 and the first 10 minutes was driving round Solihull trying to find the M42. Got home just in time for appetisers (olives, stuffed pimentos, anchovies, Italian meats if you're interested ) and a beautiful San Miguel. Thanks once again.
  5. There you go. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=31534
  6. Yep. Looks like they made it wrong as I wanted the Monza tips. I'm actually pleased because I think it looks great and less "stock" than the Monza.
  7. Quite a day all told. Not everything got done (bumper tuck and rear brakes didn't happen) Let's just say there were some minor issues which delayed things and I left Nurrish's at 7:00 after 9 hours. Out with the JWT pop charger and in with Cosworth filter. Waiting for Bennett. I think this car's had a couple of mods. Very nice Grant. Action! Before. After. Many thanks to Grant for inventing a Frankenstein dremmel to cut out the grille. Yes I know the plate is not level. Being sorted. 25% there At the end of it all. I can't say how grateful I am to Bennett (GT4 Zed) for spending all day with us (when he should have been at a family do) to get this done. I owe you one. Oh. Almost forgot. The exhaust...........Cough cough You might just notice Bennetts K1 in the background if you turn it up really, really loud. If anybody is looking for an exhaust differerent to the usual Scorpion/Japspeed that many have got, this one is brilliant. Really well made and a subtle sound below 3500 (i.e. no drone when crusing at 80) but then a real racing rasp when you give it some. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWyZOrKVBPw I'll maybe make a fly-by video later today but won't be for a while 'cos this is what I did last night until 4.00 am :drunk: Yes, that is 3 bottles of whisky folks.
  8. Why didn't I think of that. Now you know why I'm an estate agent and can't do a proper job.
  9. Gone 5:1 because I was at work today and had no time to phaff(?!?!) around. The 5:1 I got has a higher boiling point than the Dot 4 so I'll use that. If the brakes go when I'm doing 160 round the Ring next month, I'll know I've made an error. Blueflame all fitted and sounds Will post video and pics tomorrow after the Super Mod Day at Nurrish's.
  10. If you want to check out the fitting with pics and videos soon: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=34823
  11. If you want to follow the fitting etc................ viewtopic.php?f=9&t=34823
  12. Even for a track day at Castle Combe on 28th?? I know the brakes will work with 5:1 but it just seems a waste to put 5:1 in tomorrow and then pay a garage to replace it with £60 worth of Motul 660 in 10 days which I'll probably have to pay them £50 to do. If I can put something good in tomorrow it would be better. Dot 5.1 is Dot 5.1, it will do the same job, just depends how desperate you are to have it on the track. R But Motul 660 is Dot 4 and designed for track use and costs £50 for 1.5L whreas Halfords 5:1 is £10??? Why do people use Motul 660 if it's "the same".

  14. Minor disaster....... Opie Oils haven't sent my Motul 660 brake fluid and I need it for tomorrow. I'm having Nurrish's old set up (Front and rear Brembo Calipers, DBA 5000 discs on the front, DBA 4000 discs on the rear, Ferodo DS-2500 Brake Pads all round, Hel Carbon Brakes Lines) and he has recommended the 660. Looks like I won't be able to get any before tomorrow as it's not exactly an "off the shelf" item. Any suggestions???
  15. Recently decided to invest some bucks in the Z. Basically love the car but thought original wheels looked tripe, the exhaust is naff, the front grille is awful, it can go faster and er.......if I make it go faster I'll need better brakes. So. A week or so ago had these puppies fitted: 18" Rota Torque Drift ET12 Falken 452 275/40 245/45 and today this beauty arrived: Can you guess what it is yet?? No. Here you go: Having this fitted as soon as I can find a garage and will post more pics later. Tomorrow am meeting up with Nurrish and GT4Zed for some other little bits and bobs so tune back in for updates. PS - Mods. This thread will be modifications to Exhaust, Wheels, Performance and Exterior so I have left it in General if that's OK with you?
  16. You need to be in Cheddar Gorge at 11:00 on 18th April - over 100 top cars at Pistonheads meeet.
  17. Whoever will do it the cheapest! Somewhere in sunny Weston no doubt.
  18. Not a patch on the Gallardo. Pretty well unusable in UK.
  19. Fitting on Friday so video and pics up soon.
  20. Being fitted on Friday so pics and video up soon.
  21. OP has sent me some originals to tweak so here's one. I've gone "extreme" with Photomatix 3.1 but it doesn't have to be quite so full on. Like I said above, real credit goes to OP with great camera work and a really beautiful 350Z and a great location. Before: After:
