  1. Cheers bud. Really like the grille and changing from a JDM to a UK number plate and mounting it above the grille. Wheels look good and exhaust sounds When ALL the Brembos are on and I've done the bumper tuck, I'll be posting some proper pics.
  2. Silly me - yes a Jag and not an Aston. Seemed to be owned by some........er.........."tasty looking geezers"
  3. Here's my lot. Just my personal favourites from the day. And yes. I did spend a lot of time stalking the Orange Gallardo. In my eyes the most perfect car there and maybe (just maybe) the most perfect design of all time. Before you say it, the baby blue Aston doesn't need spacers and the the Diablo doesn't need lowering.
  4. .........and they say estate agents charge too much. Where's my wrenches and boiler suit? Time to get a new job............. PS - Nice wheels.
  5. Am I getting too close darling..................... More pics to come of the day but dinner is calling. PS - Why does my Z look stationary when I'm taking Pimm on a dual-carriageway - were we going THAT slow??
  6. There you go. Pistonheads meet - Cheddar Gorge about 5 hours ago. Dealer demo reversed on to rocks and scraped all the bottom I heard. Do not buy this car if you see it in North Somerset for sale through Nissan! I hated the colour but others liked. PS - This also looked like it had been washed with Brillo pad and Fairy Liquid. Must be the Nissan dealer standard treatment worldwide.
  7. In my bedroom just above the dressing table, should get some good shots and sound from that angle
  8. Just ordered 2. Thinking of strapping one to the tow hook at the front and then underneath bumper tuck at rear and then mixing the sound/vision from front and back.
  9. The latest is that it's not coming from Iceland but in fact the North West of England. Scientists looked in to it and identified it as most likely Liverpool and after more intensive analysis, pinpointed the Anfield area. The mystery was solved when it was discovered that the trophy cabinet at Liverpool FC had been opened last week for cleaning................

Took mine off a week ago and was just about to post a "For Sale" thread.
  11. What's wrong with these available in UK for £850 plus?? Your £1050 will be a lot more once duty and tax are applied.
  12. A picture tells a thousand words they say.......... Well in this case, not. I was at the press conference and this is what she said:
  13. Not really. FTSE up 0.6% today. 4 of my 6 stocks are down today but 2 are gold miners in Africa/Phillipines, 2 are UK retail and commercial property companies, 1 is a European property company and 1 is an Australian oil/gas company. There is no logic usually. When a big firm announces "record profits" or "increased turnover" (somewhere around 7:00am on any given day) the share price more often than not falls on opening at 08:00. Most "news" has been leaked days and weeks before and the "announcement" is usually factored in prior to it being made public. A good example is the tip I gave on MERE. I heard 2 days ago that they were about to complete on the sale of IZD Tower and the price has risen from 115 to 140 on rumours so when it is announced as "news" it may jump a bit more but it may fall as the profiteers who bought on the rumour sell for a quick buck. Catching these waves, and having a job that allows you to do this, is the key to short-term trading. I don't have a strategy just ride the waves.................
  14. Page unavailable?? What was the story?
  15. www.iii.co.uk www.lse.co.uk www.shareprice.co.uk www.thisismoney.co.uk
  16. Now. Should I do a bumper tuck to show off the stainless steel back box??
  17. Don't know anything about spreadbetting. Sorry. I also know NOTHING about shares other than what I've read on forums over last 12 months. It's a bit of luck and intuition I suppose and maybe picking markets (property for instance) that I know a little about. PS - MERE up 14% in last 48 hours. News of the Zurich building may have been leaked to traders but nothing released to the stock market yet. Lots of talk of 200 price (currently 131) within 12 months but again, it could be 50 and you lose thousands.
  18. It is unfair to say you will have to put up with the slight rubbing Simon To achieve the stunning look you have now, i advised on the most aggressive wheel offset of the choices you had, tyre width and tyre profile and they look super cool on your zed as everyone who has seen them says . I disagree with going for the 30mm offset and using spacers Spacers should be used as a last resort rather a substitute for proper fitting wheels and anyway 30 would have been too far in still. i have always maintained between 15-25 depending on the tyres is usually perfect but you can go for super aggresive if you are prepared to be flexible in making things fit Going for smaller width will not give you the same matched sidewall height between front and rear and cost way more than the fix required The rubing issues is only a few millimeteres in it as is evident with barely a mark on the tyres and there are two solutions to get rid of it. Roll the arches or get adjustable camber arms and dial more neg camber you will only need to go in by .25 or .5 of a degree to eliminate the rubbing and at the sametime improve rear end grip. Rolled arches donot cause rusting unless you have rust in your arches already However, I would prefer the adjustable arms solution as it also future proofs you in case lower the car on at a later date Sorry if you thought that was criticism of you Bennett - it wasn't. You spent a lot of time advising me on wheels/tyres etc. but I checked with nrenz123 before I pressed the buy button. He has the identical Rota Torque set up but with no rubbing. So it's his fault. Does nrenz123 have a JDM to? If you both are on standard spring setup and his is UK its going to be softer then yours from factory... It'll rub until there is no rubbing left to do so that'll be fine Can you not adjust the camber a bit? Hopefully it will be the correct adjustment too so you don't wear the inside of the tyres quicker... If you want to sell the wheels give me a shout I think the guy that sold you the set should fix it for you free of charge (no matter that you almost got him divorced earlier! ) She's looking good though Bloody hell this is getting silly. I didn't buy the rims/tyres from Bennett - he just advised me on the set up in completely good faith. Before I bought I asked lots of questions of others and the traders who sold the rims/tyres. Any subsequent issues are entirely my responsibility. I'm a big boy. The rubbing is very slight and not as concerning as the above conversations seem to indicate. I'm going to a track day at Castle Combe on 28th and if it's a big issue, will sort after. If not, I'll live with it. As this is my thread, can we all stop talking about rubbing (unless it involves Kirsten Dunst)
  19. You can make as much profit as you like and pay NO tax if you trade in a stocks and shares ISA.
  20. Can those who have expressed an interest then post what stock they have, their average buy price and current price and what they intend to do in the future. Also, any tips which you haven't bought and are tracking. MNR. Average buy 71.5. Now at 82.25. Holding until they let Walbrook in the City. Hoping for 150 within 12 months. MML. Average buy 208. Now at 231. Holding whilst the Chinese keep on buying gold. Exit point 300? CEY. Average buy 106. Now 127. Gold again so same strategy as above. Exit point 180? LSL. Average buy 271. Now 277. Have contacts in company so knew about buy-out of Halifax. Sold at 310 and re-entered 40 points lower. Chairman VERY bullish about 400 + in next 12 months. Biggest mistake? Bought RMV at 200 a year ago, sold at 280 last summer. Stock now 600. Could have made £20k + Also, not buying GKP before they went mental and became a 12-bagger (went from 10 to 120 from July to October last year) Not tracking anything as the price of a decent Boxster tied up in MNR and therefore spend a lot of time on the toilet........ Hope some of you guys took some of these tips. MNR now 121 - up 72% CEY now 138 - up 31% LSL now 298 - up 9% MML now 266 - up 28% Latest tip - MERE - but get in today as news is imminent on the sale/let of a prestigious building they own in Zurich.

  22. Looks great! Am looking for something a bit different for mine - but within the tighter end of the budget.... Blueflame Fuji cat-back - £492 delivered tight enough for you?? Stainless steel right through and sounds/looks a lot more expensive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWyZOrKVBPw
  23. See the sig. £795 but I have seen them cheaper by almost £100 about 3 days after I bought them. They are ET12 and there are some minor rubbing issues. You might want a less agressive offset and use spacers. Sorry excuse my ignorance, but what causes the rubbing? What do you think would be the perfect setup for these to go on a totally stock zed? I keep looking at your pics and trying to decide whether to take the plunge lol looks awesome with the GM on orange These wheels in the flesh are amazing and go perfectly with orange. Rubbing, i would go for not so a aggresive offset, I run +20 and are perfect It's a combo of having a 275 rear tyre and an offset on ET12 on 9.5" rims. I've dialled in -2.0 camber which is the max. The 350 needs a staggered offset and these rims are not staggered. I run 245 on the front and guess 265 or 275 on the rear with an offset of 30 would definately solve the issues. If they are "in" a bit you can always add spacers. Unfortunately I can't and will either have to put up with the slight rubbing or ditch the brand new tyres for 265s. We live and learn.
