  1. G37!! Didn't know what that was until I googled it. Nice! The G37 Convertible will be build on the FM (Front Mid-ship) platform, which has been stiffened 36% from the previous generation, is lower in overall height and has a wider front and rear track width. Also there are rumors that Infiniti is working on a more powerful version of the G37: an all-wheel drive, twin-turbocharged version that will have an output of 500 hp. This mean that the 2009 G37 will be even more powerful like a GT-R. So, it will reach at least a top speed of 185 mph and the 0 to 60 mph sprint will be made in less than 4 seconds.Like the Coupe, the Convertible version will be offered in three different versions: standard, Journey and Sport. The most powerful, and of course the most expensive will be the the Sport version. It will feature 19″ wheels, Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD), sport-tuned suspension, sport brakes, unique front fascia and side sills, sport-styled seats and steering wheel stitching.

And have you heard it................... I'll have this one please.
  5. 8 mpg at Castle Combe recently. 18.5 mpg average since purchase last year
  6. I've run 18's and 19's at similar profiles and offsets. With above measurements I reckon you'll get rubbing on the rears when the rear springs compress under load (bumps etc). Arch rolling is not a big job and will run this offset easily - and it will look the dogs danglies. All spot on I'd say.
  7. Be careful. I've got +12 on 18" Rotas with a 275 rear tyre and they rub. I wanted to lower but can't without arch work.
  8. I've done about 40 miles with the ---- flashing. There seems to be about 10 litres left in the tank when it starts flashing by my estimate and I do 7.6 km/l so 76km/47mile leeway. This sounds reasonable for Nissan to build in a 50-mile safety buffer beceause this car was built for the US market. Having driven around Nevada/Arizona/Utah a few years back, there are a lot of areas where a petrol station 50 miles away would be the norm.
  9. This is very sad news. My sincere condolences to all involved.

  13. Anybody got a screen-grab of the sobbing Spurs child shown on Sky? I feel a T-shirt coming on! This'll do in the meantime.
  14. Don't use them then. I've got all the sound through the front speakers. Sounds fine. If you want tp REALLY improve things, buy some Infinity 6.5" components.
  15. 50's? Born 1964 Several decades after Colin The finest vintage Beavis.
  16. You mean 3rd dibs........
  17. In the Auto, the "Tortoise" switch is in the same place. Very embarrassing accidentally flicking this one with your elbow and then getting spanked by 2.0 l TTs at the lights.
  18. It always makes me smile when people complain about this review. It's actually very good and shows why Clarkson has achieved all he has. There are 1,000's of posts on this forum and what are the 4 biggest complaints? 1. Terrible noise (why do we fit those exhausts/pop-chargers etc.?) 2. Car's too heavy 3. Poor internal build quality 4. Impractical boot. and Clarkson identified these 4 things as it's biggest failings by just tootling around Sheffield for a couple of hours. The thing about the engine is an error which everyone jumps on to show he doesn't know his beans. He does. And some. Why do you all care so much about what he says? We love the car. He didn't. Get over it.
