  1. Yup - Birmingham 6 months ago - near Nurrish's house. Looked good.
  2. Only got the new camera (Nikon D7000) on Wednesday and took these last night at the N.E.C. so quite a bit of operator error. It was a deliberate "torture test" so no flash, no tripod, ISO up to 6400, mixture of tungsten/halogen/whatever lighting and rushing around. All-in-all, I'm amazed by the camera and it consigns all my other gear to e-bay. Lenses: Nikon 35mm 1.8 Nikon 55-200mm VR Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 Cleaned up and post-processed in Photoshop CS3 with Neat Image for the noise. General consensus was a toss-up between the SLS and the Lambo Spider for the Lottery win. If you can see a stain on the Lambo wheels, that was PIMM.
  3. Sell everything and buy shares in XEL. Up 114% in last few weeks................. Some say 300% to go and then, hello Lambo. (PS - I haven't got PI. )
  4. Oh yes. Caught him washing his white Seat with what appeared to be a bucket of sand and a Guinea Pig so now he's in the know. I showed his dad the joys of Meguiars Metal Polish and his motorbike hasn't looked the same since.
  5. Walbertonio - I think you're right - any chance of a link to the re-set procedure? Neighbour is only about 20 and he is often rewarded when I take him out for a spin in the Z. I think he particularly enjoyed the drag race with PIMM a few months back. He operates the big wheel on the sea-front at Weston so he won't be getting any wine. Health and safety you know. Rob d - I don't work as an estate agent. Someone else does that.
  6. Thanks. M&S Stockholm range. XX Large. Mystery solved. Neighbour came home at 12:20 last night and saw my driver's window was half open. He took his car cover out of the boot of his Seat (opposite mine in pic) and tucked him up for the night. Very nice chap indeed! Says it's only a cheap cover from Halfords but it seems to be a perfect fit and the inside is nicely lined with a fairly smooth material for those of you worried about rubbing.
  7. Do u not have to go to work lol? Get out there! Maybe a prezzie from an ex 350z owner. We've heard of such gestures before on here Work If only you knew.......
  8. Nothing under pillow. It's too cold to go outside and check the car at present. I'm sure it's ok but no nearer to solving the mystery.
  9. Was going to say this myself. It's amazing how many people on this forum think they are driving a Ferrari or Lambo when in fact they've got a cheap, flawed car built by one of the least exclusive brands in the world. Peugout have made a very pretty, distinctive coupe (much better-looking than the Audi) which hopefully will be bought by lots of pretty girls who "work in IT" who we can chase around town and blip our exhausts at.
  10. Obviously I sent the girlfriend out (struggling with her lappy, briefcase and overnight bag) to give it a thorough check over. She gave the thumbs-up and scooted off on her little commute to Halifax - only 235 miles. No note from any pixies.
  11. As lovely as she is (girlfriend) she has a complete inability to lie and has no imagination so it has nothing to do with her!
  12. Woke up, had toast and coffee bought to me in bed, had a generous gift from girlfriend who was going away for 2 days and didn't want me to "get lonely" so everything's ok with the world. As per the norm, walked to the window to check the Z as street-parked in "colourful" area. Expected to be met by the glory of a Sunset Z gleaming back at me but instead: Quick rub-eye and then looked again: Either I've had a nervous breakdown and bought a cover, fitted it and then forgotten about it or some weird sh*t is going on. I have my suspicions but answers on a postcard please.
  13. If you own a 370Z and don't like the review - write a response on his forum - not this one. That way it may make a contribution.
  14. So you want £130 for second-hand goods that cost you £140 new. Bold.
  15. I read somehwere that's 'cos it's a mixed class race so it's like me overtaking Fiestas and thinking I'm a hot-shot. PS - That's the most awful noise I've ever heard. Worse than Coldplay!
  16. Oops - just read whole post and realised this isn't what you wanted. I'll leave it up anyway as 6 hours cleaning needs to be shown off sometimes.
