  1. Can someone explain this? Obviously I'm not one of the few who know who SG is so make it nice and simple. I guess there must be a few of us. Thanks.
  2. Is that your Zed on the screen? I wish. Forza Motorsport 3 at the Nurburgring but yes, I've modded the Xbox version to look like mine. I'm 47 you know!
  3. Buying a 50" telly is one thing. Hanging it is another........................took me 4 years to get "consent" to remove the Victorian fireplace for this.

  5. Google is your friend: http://www.carphototutorials.com/make_p ... a_pro.html
  6. Limited to 80. Doesn't excuse charging £15k for some naff wheels and exhaust.
  7. .............it'll look like this. Link: http://www.the370z.com/horsepower-logic ... ction.html
  8. And they want £43,000 for it?? "Each Nurburgring 370Z receives a new set of 19-inch OZ alloy wheels in a gunmetal finish that are wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT rubber (255/40 R19 at the front, 285/35 R19 at the back), a performance Cobra exhaust system and a numbered plaque. But that's about it as Nissan did not tamper with the 370Z's 3.7-liter V6 engine that continues to produce 331 'ponies' which are channeled to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. The base price for the special edition 370Z is €50,400" Link: http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2009/07/ni ... found.html
  9. I'm selling my Sony DSC-H1 which will focus to 2cm. Reviews here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydsch1/ Quote: The H1's macro mode lets you get as close as 2cm at the wide end of the zoom, capturing an area of just under 40mm (1.5 inches) across - roughly the same as the Panasonic FZ5. Interestingly, this is roughly the smallest area the Canon S2 IS can capture using it's much-trumpeted Super Macro mode before the lens gets so near to the subject that it blocks out all light. At the wide end of the zoom there is inevitably some corner softness and distortion (and some visible chromatic aberration), but it's better than most of its direct competitors, and there is little or no vignetting. Obviously at a shooting distance of 2cm there is a real danger of the lens casting a shadow on the subject, but it's not a serious issue. Yours for £80 plus postage. All boxed and ready to rock!
  10. Found them warm, loyal, fun-loving, sharp, relaxed, generous, self-confident, distinctive and interesting. All characteristics I like in people. Looking forward to the rest of the series. It's almost an anthropological study in that, by their self-imposed isolation, they provide a glimpse of what we (mainstream society) were like perhaps as recently as 100 - 150 years ago? I wonder if any of the older men are going to allow themselves to be filmed at any point?
  11. RRL looks VERY promising. Just had their drilling rights extended by the Somalian government and Africa Oil (drilling partner) are committed to drilling 2 new wells for them by September. That little space in your garage might have the Cayman S/Z4M in it sooner than you think. Don't worry, I'll leave the keys in it............. Mind you, if I play this year right, it's a GT-R..........or a 997......or (takes deep breath) Gallardo.
  12. Read the whole thread. Carefully. Then read it again. It's all there.
  13. No probs. Send me a haggis when you've doubled your money.
  14. Ball blue. Does it come with hairs........
  15. Sarnie, If you had got your wallet out 18 months ago when I started the share tips, you'd be bloody close to £200k today.
  16. http://www.ferrari.com/English/GT_Sport ... talia.aspx Click on "Configure" and watch the rest of your day disappear.........
  17. Looking forward to it. Might bring the Cayman S or Z4M Coupe........ Mind you, if you bought the R34 it'll be
  18. Don't know about 5 but the last 3 cars I "owned" were: PIMM - everywhere Captain Sensible - Castle Combe Ian - all over S wales.
  19. The last few years have hardly been normal circumstances though, for example the FTSE 100 was at 6500 ish in 2008, dropping to 3500 in 2009 and is now back up to around 6000. I'd be very cautious about planning investments on the gains you've made recently. Wise words. The reason I started was because of the crash and I guessed that there would be this sharp rise. Strategy will change later this year and move to less risky stocks. If I was to invest just now, say 2k for a period of 6 months, what would be your advice? XEL or RRL. Both can be held in an ISA (tax free) and both due big news in Q1. XEL waiting for 3rd party confirmation on just how BIG their recent North Sea oil find was and RRL have a lot of news due from multi sites worldwide. I also hold AEX, CAZA, CRND, GKP and XTR.
