  1. have you got a picture of it boxed up and the receipt? Only reason I ask is you've got 2 sales going at the moment and only 20 posts (including the sale posts?) - I've been stung when buying on forum's before so just been cautious - no offence intended!
  2. http://www.z-store.co.uk/ http://cougarstore.co.uk/ http://www.epracing.co.uk/ http://www.prestige-styling.co.uk/ Have a look at the registered traders section as there are many more that can help as well
  3. nismo is one of the nicest looking for the roadster imo. check out CS or Envy for some idea's.
  4. I'm sure in the manual it says to never leave the heated seat switches on, never heard anything about the mirrors switch though - I know I don't put it to the neutral position every day!
  5. I was always a die hard manual until I had an automatic courtsey car for about 6 weeks (Honda Legend) and realised that if the auto is a decent box and has manual override then it's actually not too bad! I did drive a few tiptronic Z's before setting on a manual and thought it was a decent autobox so if you prefer auto then go for it! Welcome by the way!
  6. Not a fan of the TopSecret version at all Let me know which you decide to go ahead with though.
  7. I could be interested in this if it's to fit on the standard bumper, depending on price of course The chargespeed looks very nice but that only fit's the chargespeed rear bumper I think, might be a good palce to look for idea's though?
  8. I made an enquiry with them a couple of days ago and received the following; Dear Paul, Thank you for your enquiry, is the spoiler an after-market product? When the car was new the struts would have had 400N in them, we can gas these struts up to 1200N depending on your requirements. We would need your old struts to remove the brackets to fit to our new struts. You will need to supply me with the Part Number which is printed on the gas struts on your car to make sure you receive the correct struts. New struts are available at a cost of £63.81 for the pair delivered (£24.99 per strut plus £5.50 carriage and VAT), are covered by a two year guarantee and are available on next day delivery. Some struts can be re-gassed depending on their condition so a visual inspection by us must be made in order to assess your struts, which is free of charge. If you try a re-gas and it fails within the warranty period we will discount the cost of the re-gas from new gas struts purchased from SGS Engineering. A re-gas is £35.08 delivered for the pair (£12.50 per strut plus £5.50 carriage and VAT) and struts are usually turned around within three working days. Payment can be made via credit/debit card and you will be contacted for payment once your struts have been tested. Only issue is my struts don't seem to have a part number that I can see yet, I'll be sending them off this weekend though.
  9. lights received within 18hrs of paying for them - even early enough for me to quickly swap them out with mine before going to work this morning!! Thanks muchly
  10. hhmmm someone's telling porkie's!
  11. are they in good condition? have you got any pictures?
  12. I'll take em if they fit an 03 JDM
  13. there was a lovely white and orange Zed when I went, was one of my first chances to have a proper look around a Z (and to start falling love with it!)
  14. I went a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty good, so I might be up for this. It obviously depends on it 'she who must be obeyed' will let me go out to play
  15. Has anyone else actually used this company yet? I'm thinking of getting mine done seen as the ballast removal didn't help matters. The only thing I'm concerned about am I supposed to just send my struts to company with a letter asking them what to do and they do it, do I not need to contact the company first to arrange with them? Is this definitely only £35?

    New Brakes

I thought there were not due for months?? EDIT: the brakes I was quoted for were non-brembo fitment whereas the turbo grooves that are now in stock are apparently the brembo fitment. Oh, and it was EBC themselves who told me that the stock would not be in UK until next year. CS sorted me out super quick to get my MOT sorted
  17. removed the ballast, didn't make any difference ho-hum, at least I have a shiny new trim remover to add to the garage. Might have a bash at taking off the wiper if I can get a bung over the weekend, keeps me busy lol

  19. did the garage pull the code before trying to reset it?

    New Brakes

Definitely can't get the EBC turbo grooved as I tried EVERYWHERE couple of weeks back. I went for the slotted DBA disks with EBC yellowstuff pads and so far very impressed!
  21. Remove plastic covering in the boot lid (pull from the window side) When plastic is removed, you will see a rectangular weight in the boot lid held by 4 screws.. 10mm spanner, remove. While your there remove the rear windscreen wiper and motor and bung the hole with a rubber gromet from halfrauds...!! Replace plastic. Close boot. Stand back, drink tea (or coffee and smoke fag if your taht way inclined!), pick up weight and wonder why its soo heavy and why its there... (and also marvel how good your hatch looks shaved if you have removed the wiper.. and then coat the screen with rain-x... !) Excellent, thanks for that! Now just gotta decide on taking off the wiper..... Thanks also! I'll grab a trim removal tool on way home methinks.
  22. where excatly is this guide - I've tried searching for it but no joy?
  23. I'm up for this, my bonnet p1$$es me off when I have bags in hand and I pop the boot and nothing happens! And I don't have a spoiler on it!!
