it is correct - its to try stop uninsured drivers which is a good thing. Although i have been discussing this last night and I am still unsure if the rule still applies to SORN vehicles.

I'd just buy the spacers that work properly first time, there has been loads for sale on here cheap as chips (including mine)

Ray's have the recess on the reverse side of the spoke to allow for the protruding bits, I assume your new wheels do not have the same?
