So this is how Josh's car started off with us. The job spec was to: -supply, spray & fit CS rear bumer with gold pearl black insert to match the rest of the car. -spray & fit skirts -Mesh through out -Strip, flush out boot and respray -supply & fit R35 carbon GTR-Z spoiler The new spoiler New holes marked out Boot lid stripped down, holes filled, de-wipered and plastered test fit of the new bumper These where the skirts Josh supplied to us Mesh tabs we made After a days bit of faffing around

well a bug eye isnt bad and believe it or not its not that much differnt on insurance compared to the zed. Though it is more practical it is still fun to drive. I have a Celica GT4 and being a coupe its not totally impractical but it is an old car and a money is an issue with repairs especially with its super struts. Like for like in money after sales, I agree with Ekona. A RWD 3 series maybe a 330i would be practical and still enjoyable. Otherwise go for the bug eye but be warned. Boost is addictive and once you're used to constantly driving in max boost you will end up wanting more.

How about telling us what kind of cars you like or what you'd be using your car for? That way i'll narrow down some options.

Spoiler is not of the typical GT style spoiler but skyline R35 made to fit the zed. Unlike most zeds, at least yours work Josh. How was the ride home? I took so many pics of he rear cos I loved the combination. Welcome to the non-norm club

What have you got in mind? I would personally like to see more nismo rear spats combined with the TS carbon diffuser look. Something I've always wanted to make.

Man stop encouraging me! I still need to sort out the 370Z front end and that's on my to do list for a while now.

They are known for the value systems and little or less can go wrong if you have a car with a straight forward single system, especially with older cars where there are more space and play. However the Zed's are quite... "complicated" and require a bit more attention to detail especially when it's a duel system and having to navigate around the rear ARB. A few mm's make such a difference. I think for the Zed's its worth spending that little bit more for a better system will save you a lot of head ache and many hours of frustrated %&*+£@ing...

not as much as nismos. When ever I see another Zed on the road I still see them with a nismo kit more than CS. I guess you see more CS kits cos we do promote them quite a bit here as we've made them affordable and offer them fitted too.

We have the one glrnet pointed out from dynamicsounds but we didn't buy it there. Also we have this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-pcs-Car-Door-Clip-Panel-Trim-Dash-Audio-Removal-Installer-Pry-Tool-Set-/111010055928?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item19d8b706f8 All will do the job but what you'll find is that out of so many you'll only end up using 1 or 2 tools to do most of the jobs you need. My favourite one is the first 2 in the ebay link. Never really needed the rest. I wouldn't use a metal tool as it tends to be too hard and will scratch or dent certain panels. You don't need to spend a lot of money TBH.

I guess there really isn't much you can do tbh as your insurance company seems to have already made their mind up. Appealing is not really going to do much and will take years and more money. When I saw your title "hitman wanted" straight away I remembered an acquaintance who can arrange "assistance" but I'd doubt it'll really be worth the cost. Best thing to do is really to learn from this. We all have a decent mobile now days an my instinct now is to pull out my phone and put on the video recorder and try to film everything.

If you're referring to the top secret one, unfortunately from this thread nothing was definitive. Hence nothing went to estimates and we haven't got any prices yet. But if there is something you know you want, by all means let me know and I'll see what we can do to help either in sourcing or fitting.
