  2. This was an email from the General manager. What a legend

    Office Holiday Memo

    To: All Employees

    From: Management

Subject: Office conduct during the Christmas season

Effective immediately, employees should keep in mind the following guidelines in compliance with FROLIC (the Federal Revelry Office and Leisure Industry Council).

    1. Running aluminum foil through the paper shredder to make tinsel is discouraged.

    2. Playing Jingle Bells on the Tanoy speaker is forbidden

    3. Work requests are not to be filed under "Bah humbug."

    4. Company cars are not to be used to go over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house.

    5. All xmas cake is to be eaten BEFORE July 25.

    6. Cranberry and Turkey sandwiches will NOT be dispensed in vending machines.

    7. Snowball fights in the car park will not count as "taking a class"

    8. Calling to say the pool is frozen will not be tolerated. Its an indoor heated pool. We are not idiots.

    9. Dangerous driving in the snow on the car park is unacceptable. You are not a rally driver.

    10. The xmas party is not an excuse to "Get naked"

In spite of all this, the staff is encouraged to have a Happy Holiday.

  3. The solution thats easiest -

We will px your wheels back for some gunmetal ones.

It will be similar money as having them powdercoated, and will be fully warranted, and factory finish.

Sounds like a plan. How much are we talking?

  4. Ive been looking at getting the wheels powder coated gun metal, but have been reading the problems people have had with damaged wheels etc.

Just wondering if anyone has had it done already? Or if anyone can recommend somewhere that can do it in the East Anglia area?

    Any help always appreciated!

  5. I see your point in that our roads arent even close to the standard they should be, but looking at the bigger picture i can kind of see the point to them. A high percentage of accidents happen in residential areas, narrow streets, normally with cars parked on them mean people step out at the last minute giving drivers very little time to react, meaning no time when speeding. If the cost of these units is in proportion to the number of accidents that it wil help prevent then im all for it, at the end of the day why do we need to speed in residential areas?

Just my thoughts, please dont hammer me for it
