  1. Thanks for the input, really pleased with how it turned out. The wheel colour was an obvious choice for me when i saw the Nismos that Tarmac now has, at the time i was out of cash and would have loved them to remain on the car so these seemed a good alternative now the bank balance is out of the minus. Cant wait to get some engine mods in as its looking a bit bland compared to a few ive seen on here!
  2. Thanks for the comments guys! The mark on the discs was something i was concerned about, it had rained all night and that picture is after i had washed the car before work. But is that normal? Its not a big issue as the discs will be getting replaced in March.
  3. And finally some Bridgestone RE050 from Bennett, again a great service with contact maintained at all times even when there was a slight delay. Tyres were in great condition with the front being practically new and the rears with roughly 5mm tread. Next up is an Injen CAI, carbon plenum and spacer, Japspeed decats and finally a Tune with Abbey at the end of Feb! Im sure ill get some more pics up when things start arriving! Let me know what you think.
  4. Well ive owned the Zed now for 5 months adn only now that the wheels have been fitted have i thought about getting some pictures up. First was a new exhaust: Then came the Tein Superstreet suspension and EDFC controller, big thanks too Abbey for setting this up for me! Then the D1 Spec throttle controller from EPR racing. And finally (after a clean) the Rota GTR 19" in gunmetal! Originally purchased in silver through envy with a great service throughout. Then with a change of heart having seen them in gunmetal, Rare Rims allowed me to exchange the wheels for the colour i was after for practically just the shipping costs!! Again a big thanks to Rare Rims for this!
  5. Got to say it looks exactly the same as mine, still might be worth asking Nissan about it if your interested.
  6. I thought this was a steep drop before i saw the angle of the chopper in the background, good photography!
  7. Ah see that is interesting already as i find that when driving very hard i change closer to 6.5/7k and when driving around a medium pace its normaly around 4k but when general driving is probably 3k. Im guessing you have the rev up engine? i dont think mine is a rev up as its a 2005, you recon im changing gear too high? i could be first car i have had that is this powerful. one of the reasons i am asking on here actually just to generally see if i am driving it to its best caperbilities I think the rev limiter is at 6600 so I think what he is saying is you CANT do 7000 in a DE Yea i was just wondering if that was the case. Think you can feel the car at its peak, just a case of getting used to it, if your really interested in knowing its capabilities get down to a track day, really helped me understand when the car was at its limit especially on corners.
  8. Sounds like maybe the suspension gave out at the front? Main thing is you got through it mate. Cars can always be fixed.

  10. When driving it hard until the revs are at about 6k but normally only about 3k max. Its not like the car lacks pull low down.
  11. ^ l l What he said, Adam will give you an idea if you speak with him.
  12. I would be very careful with the above food intake and work. Your relying very heavily on the body to produce energy from merely protein and your own fat, thats quite extreme Andlid did a professional actually advise this? It will definately help you lose weight quickly though. Your kidneys will be taking a massive pounding from all that protein as well so drink lots of water, and if you can stand it, cranberry juice. Just my thoughts though
  13. Is there an address for this guy so i can send him a medal? Thats quality.
  14. I know a few people officers, some are the nicest people you will meet but a lot are just power glory idiots. Wouldnt worry about it mate.
  15. Yea it makes little difference, the idea behind it is that you digest your food qucker, but if your consuming the same amount of food, especially high fat foods, theres no point. Get yourself down a gym or play more squash, swop smoking for exercise, its what my girlfriend does, she hits the gym four times a week and remains smoking free for 3 years now and looks great for it.
  16. Recieved the tyres this afternoon!! The fronts are pretty much brand new, well impressed. Great service Bennett! Thanks for all the help! Dan
  17. Sorry mate only just saw this, my first thought was maybe your windows werent auto adjusting up when you shut the door meaning its not shutting properly and therefore causing the alarm to go off? Glad its sorted though.
