  1. I love how the original question has just been lost in "how to make a car go quick" Top speed is 156 restricted and 0-60 is 5.7 sec at stock
  2. Dirt in the fuel tank should really be a thing of the past, the quality of fuel these days is very high, especially with optimax and the other "high performance" fuels.
  3. Doesnt mean exactly 20% It means depending on the car and how worn the plugs are will effect the percentage. Mine were changed at 44k.
  4. your spark plugs can lose about 20% of performance, get them changed, have a remap and im sure you will find the figures your after.
  5. Pretty sure a loading area cant be parked in at anytime, regardless of the day.
  6. If they dont go on here mate have you thought about going into Game or HMV and see if they will trade them in for store credit?
  7. i would be purchasing the GT4 just on exclustivity and re sale options alone. But thats just my opinion
  8. Depends on if your going to change the whole system ie amp and sub or just the headunit. If its just the headunit you just need some adapters as the bose connections are slightly different to most after market parts, plus a facia adapter to get a flush fit. Like i said there is a massive topic on changing the system in the audio section
  9. oh and 400 miles on a tank is achievable if your cruising for long miles but if that includes urban miles or spirited driving i would be looking at around 350.
  10. try refining the search by only searching in the areas that will answer your questions. But to give you some help: The car is pretty much bullet proof as long as it has been regularly serviced at the intervals you have posted. Obviously if you can get a car froma a forum member your on to a winner as it will have been VERY well looked after. You have already listed all the major faults. As for a garage in the North East i cant really help as im in the south east, i know RS tuning, a trader on here, is in leeds. Im sure some of the more Northerly members can help you out there. If you look at the portal home page of the site you will see a list of traders such as Envy Performance (z-store) CS, Z1 (States) rare Rims etc aswell as member traders who can also source new or second hand parts. As for the bose, mine is shocking so im replacing it straight away. If you search in the audio section you will see a whole range of aftermatrket options. Hope this helps
  11. Firstly to the forum! all your questions can be answered with the search button mate, theres even an FAQ for new owners if you struggle with anything.
  12. Is the 450whp from an American dyno? If so i thouight their figures were always higher than UK?
  13. Sounds good mate, would love to see the pics. My boss was into cave diving, told me too many stories of folk loosing their guide lines, and then he gave me Bernie Chowdhury's book 'the last dive', where a father and son die of the bends...come to think of it, maybe he didn't want me to get into diving Something I would love to try tho! Yea those probably arent the books you would give someone looking to start diving. Ill put some pics up soon.
  14. My boss tried to get me to start diving so I could go with him at the weekends, he gave me a few books to read on it and it scared the crap out of me Nothing to worry about mate, go with the right people with the right equipment and you will have the most peaceful experience of your life. Ill get some photos up of a couple of trips in the Maldives, the underwater world will inspire you, trust me The underwater species know what you are and as long as you respect them they will respect you, simples.
  15. An American guy showed me one when we went diving in Mexico, he seemed to think that it would protext him if a hammerhead was to attack Tried to explain that a big shiny knife on your leg whilst chasing a shark wasnt clever... he didnt like this much, and told me were to go as he was a fully qualified divemaster... i didnt bother telling him about my recent qualification as an instructor. Shows the type of idiots that are going to possess one of these though
  16. Got to say i love the RE050, i do a lot of country road driving and they are superb. Have to agree they do have quite a kick if they lose grip on the rear, found them to be 10 times better than the Re040 i had on before.
  17. Thats terrible Just for a comparison im 23 with no no claims discount and mines £908 with Admiral.
