350z Double DIN Sat Nav Head Unit JVC KW-NX7000
StokieShinobi replied to StokieShinobi's topic in For Sale
PM Replied Thanks -
I am selling my JVC KW-NX7000 It has the bluetooth module for handsfree calling. Ipod module too. It has the steering adapter for use with 350Z. Comes with all accesories. It took me over a week to adapt the cage to fit snug into the 350Z. If put in as it should be it stuck out from the dash an inch. This has been modified with the Bose/350Z cage attached so it fits totally snug! It will fit straight into your 350z. Comes with the wiring adapters to make use of the bose built in amp. All ready to plug n play! The best thing about this headunit is that it is the only one (or one of ver very few) that is double din face off! Extra security. £450 delivered. That comes with all the adapters and mounts to fit straight into 350Z Any questions do not hesitate to PM me Thanks Andy

Looking for my tyre pressure placard - should be on the inside of door? Not on either? I have a UK 350z GT 54 plate. Is it hidden somewhere else? I have put 33 psi in all round on standard Rays alloys with Toyo Proxies. Is this ok? I read somewhere 35 but thought this was a little on the high side. Sorry if this has been posted a billion times

Radiator Drain, only 5 litres came out - help?
StokieShinobi replied to StokieShinobi's topic in Servicing
Maybe I'll leave it then Only thing is when I first start the car I can hear a water splashing noise. I am guessing there is a slight air lock perhaps. All temps run fine -

Radiator Drain, only 5 litres came out - help?
StokieShinobi replied to StokieShinobi's topic in Servicing
I opened the drain plug and filled the rad until fluid came out of the drain plug. I have a feeling not all fluid came out as I did the drain on the ramps, I think I'll give it another go with the entire car raised so that it is level -

This suggests 8.7? download/file.php?id=4768&mode=view/recommended%20fluids.jpg -
Hi all I drained the rad yesterday, I was expecting 8.9 litres to drop out - only 5 came out and 5 went in. I am guessing there is old fluid in the system still. I undid the air release on the water pipe, undid the drain plug on the bottom of the rad, then released rad cap. However it seems not all the fluid came out. Has anyone any tips on getting a complete drain?

Need some ramps the Z will actually drive up onto
StokieShinobi replied to StokieShinobi's topic in 350Z General
I bought these in the end: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sports-car-long-l ... 286.c0.m14 They are a little expensive but I will keep them forever so good investment. The 350Z drives straight onto them no bother at all - and they give a decent lift height to work under: Definately recommend these -
P3 Service, but where is the pollen & fuel filter?
StokieShinobi replied to StokieShinobi's topic in Servicing
You must be as old as me to be quoting quarts 5 quarts = 5.68 litres, which is nearly 1 litre over the 4.7 litres required for an oil and filter change (4.4 litres if no filter change). But I presume you might mean litres? If your car is an MY06 model (296 bhp) then some are known to use oil and should be checked regularly. Keep an eye on the oil pressure guage - if you start to notice a fall-off in pressure or slightly eractic needle movement then the oil level might be getting low. Check the oil level regularly - the dipstick is a pain to use - best done when car has been standing for some time on level ground. MY03 models (with the 276 bhp engine) are not really known to use oil between services. Not sure about the MY07 (309 bhp engines) - don't recall anyone having any oil issues with that model. Thanks for the info, much appreciated! I followed the guide here: http://my350z.com/forum/repairing-and-d ... -pics.html ... which said to use all 5 quarts, I got about 4 and a half in. I have 5 quarts of the Royal Purple Oil; quite enjoy how it is actually purple http://www.z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuse ... rentCat=38 I have a 54 plate 350 so perhaps it is odd how it has used much oil. The oil pressure gauge was indeed bouncing around a lot - but i didnt know if this was normal as I've not long had the car. It does however seem more stable now not fluctuating as much. Thanks for the help and advice all! -
P3 Service, but where is the pollen & fuel filter?
StokieShinobi replied to StokieShinobi's topic in Servicing
Well.... Oil was changed. Oddly 5 quarts went in leaving oil inbetween min and max line - ONLY 3 quarts came out. Is this usual to be so low on oil? Only had the car a month so good job its been serviced asap really -

Hi all I wanted to get my Z on the ramps but the ones I have are no use. I was looking at some like these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sports-car-long-l ... 286.c0.m14 They are a little on the pricey side and I am unsure if the Z will get up these even? Does anyone have any ramps they can recommend to me that the Z will drive up? Thanks all

Nice car. I was interested in this car 6-7 weeks ago. Hopefully you will sell soon, its a nice rare colour. You may find your not selling so fast due to asking price, I bought my GT with leather, cruise etc. with 60,000 miles for £9500. Just a thought Good luck with your sale!
