Guys Should there be more sound options other than just bass, treble, balance & fade? Thought there might of been a subwoofer option or something. I know the Bose isn't great but I was expecting a little bit more than the non Bose in my last zed

Nothing interesting really. Swapped the wipers for new aero wipers, refurbed the rather faded badges whilst at work & flatted & polished my headlights. Badges before Badges after, now Audi Phantom Black And finally one of the headlights

Tried dreamkustomz already dude but it comes back with no returns while I use the tapatalk app. Did look at a thread about the bumper fleckers with LEDs in. Must be the same way you would fit & wire then surely. Contemplating maybe fitting some super bright LEDs in the original flecker in the light if possible to use as DRL's

Right so its d2r that pre facelift lights take then. I'm guessing I buy a hid kit with what's in it now, ie H7 rather than d2r like factory xenons run. Tried searching for old threads with modded lights for any ideas etc but found none on tapatalk app at least. I know there's not much scope for the early lights but I quite fancy fitting drl type LEDs if its doable & can look factory like

Well considering I've just emptied the bank buying the car & wasted money on journeys to look at zeds prior to this I don't have much choice if I get chance ill try get a photo from in the car somewhere where there are no street lights so you can see just how bad they are. Even on a straight road you lose the lines & edge when another car comes towards you buying another set would be simple but funds won't allow it Oh one last thing, to fit an aftermarket hid kit do I get d2s bulbs or stick with whatever the non xenons are in it now?

I've done it before a couple times on old FTO's but its only been the fog/ indicator units in the bulb. No matter how much sealant you put back on there was always one that would eventually most up lol. Ill have a look at that thanks dude

Yeah the k1 has removable bungs. Looks much more pants with them in though!

Evening folks Just wondered if anyone has tackled the task of taking apart their headlights at all? If so is there a guide or even some hints, tips etc would do. May as well give this a go as my lights sure as hell can't get any worse!

Is it worth the cost & effort though? Probably wouldn't make a gain either

There we go My last zed didn't have self levelling so I'm not fussed about that. So I can stick a set with hids in no problems then?

I need lights as well dude. That's my thinking for the big cost. Do the zeds have one leveller in the back or one each side? There's one on eBay I saw the other day

So, Alex told me that UK lights aren't a straight swap onto a JDM, reason being they have 7 pins. Question is how much work is involved to fit them? A simple chop plugs off & fit the JDM plugs from the old lights leaving out the 7th pin kinda thing?

No I doubt it will be the last. Well in fact it definitely won't. Got a few bits I want to replace before adding anything. Next mod will probably be a stubby though

Not sure but when I looked on a site the other night that you put car details into it just brings up D2R/D2S for dip & H7 full beam. That's not very definite is it lol
