  1. Just what i was thinking.... And besides... Volvo estates are cool
  2. Strange that..... Am i right in assuming that all import Zed's have the larger square number plate on the front? (i'll do a search in a mo to see if i can see the other differences (externally...) Loads of these ads on Auto-Trader / Pistonheads, dont actually say wheather or not they are UK cars, or Jap....
  3. Dammit, if only i could find one like this from a trader... Cracking car mate, good luck with the sale!!
  4. Seen a Gunmetal coloured Z on my way to work this morning, Just before the Hermiston Gait Junction heading towards Glasgow... Looked lovely! Looked fairly standard, but with rather massive deep dished wheels. Reg was something like A*7 PUG. Anyone on here?
  5. Does anyone else find it amusing that an asian guy has "suicide" doors? I'm not meaning to be racist or anything... just made me chuckle.
  6. Ooohhh!!!! Thats some car mate!!!!!!!!!
  7. This one i like alot...... I used this effect for one of the photoshoots i did with the band a few years ago.... its a cool effect.
  8. Got a favourite photo??? Looking for some inspiration for whenever i finally get a zed..... This always goes pretty well on other sites I'd start, but i doubt anyone wants to see photo's of the Astra

    Need a new car

DiggZ - your car is perfect for me, but unfortunately i can only buy from a dealership (finance issues....) so gay! If you ever sell it to a garage, ket me know!
  10. What can i say.... thats how i roll..... If it wasn't for the second monitor, you'd see all the almost empty plastic cups which used to contain coffee.....
  11. In fact... its a ginger one as the background on the work computer (haha... just noticed the obligatory can of Irn Bru there too....)
  12. Nowt wrong with the ginger ones Between that and the Azure Blue, they are definately the nicest options for the Zed.
  13. Thanks mate, already sent that one to my finance guy, i've to watch this space
  14. Ok, so my finance company aren't willing to finance an import, as "there's no real way of knowing its history......" Correct me if im wrong, but aren't all 350's built in the same factory in Japan anyway? So now to make my car finding that bit harder, i need to find a UK 350z, for preferably under 10k... mission impossible????? At least i'm not fussed about its transmission, colour, or spec.... So shouldn't be too difficult. (in theory...)
  15. Bargian of the century!!!!!
  16. f*** me!! the moons only about 235k away
  17. Thats pretty much a perfect response mate. I'm glad i'm not the only one doing stupid miles!!!!
  18. Here here... makes me want a Zed even more now!!!!!
  19. I hear what your saying mate, but I'm one of these tight people that grudges paying for a car and not using it!!!! Thats good to know that i'm not going to kill it though. If i manage to get one and can see how it fairs over the next few months, i'll probably end up getting a wee sh!tter too Cheers!!!
  20. Good good!!! That is definately what i wanted to hear!!!!! Thanks guys As always, very very helpful!
  21. Hey guys, i'm beginning to realise that for my budget, i'm going to have to accept the fact that i'll be buying a Zed with some miles on it.... The trouble is that i do 41 miles each way to work 5 days a week. I've done around 20k in the last 9 months of owning the Astra. Will the 350 be ok with this???? If i pick one up at around 60k, will it actually last at that rate, or am i better off trying to buy a runaround too to take the brunt? Providing i get it serviced as frequently as possible, it should be fine though, shouldn't it????? I know these cars are alot more reliable, and much better built than the Vauxhalls, which is one of the main reasons i want one! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. What kind of mileage do these usually live to (providing they are looked after obviously!) Cheers guys. Chris G
  22. Looks amazing mate... was supposed to be there this year, but had some Vauxhall related issues From the photo's i've seen on other sites, it seems that about 99% of the cars there were Honda's though Cracking car mate, with any luck i'lll be there in a Z next year (maybe even on a stand for this site seeing as we all seem to be scottish!!!!!!!)
  23. Good question..... I'd like to see the answer to this
  24. Ah.. just curious, as i remember how many folk said the engine was very hard and expensive to get more horses out of... Just looked a tad "too good to be true"
