I think its a good deal for the price i paid. Also the exhaust comes with a lifetime guarantee for the time you own the car, so if we have a bad winter and the exhaust rots and falls off, George will repair/replace for free. Mild steel should last a few years though! i do see your point, but maybe its just me and my priorities in life. The mortgage, bills and holidays come first then whats left is spent on cars. I know the standard mild steel exhaust is crap, but after 5 years it was still going strong so having a Y pipe and centre from mild steel doesnt bother me. Having read my previous posts they do come across a bit "cagey" but i like a bit of banter and a carry on and dont take things seriously. I think your very touchy about exhausts, It may be a personal issue which i wish you every luck!! BTW i spent more than 10k on my uk car. I would rather spend the 1700 on other things but good luck to you. I think ive touched a nerve. I DO NOT HAVE LEARNING DIFFICULTIES MY DOCTOR TOLD ME IT WAS EVERONE ELSE. Everyone to there own. I just wanted to tell everyone about my bargain but im still trying to put out the flames. On the plus side theres a £1700 quid exhaust for sale with excellent welds which wont rust. The car is cheap to mod IF you like buying twice We'll see how well your exhaust holds up to the UK winter Everything nice in life is expensive, Z parts are no different. You only have to see the welds on the Amuse exhaust that Ho is selling & you will see why its worth the money its going for. Its a work of art TBH. Prices are relative to your own situation, what is expensive for one is not for another. Just because I could afford to drop £1700 on an exhaust does not mean I should be driving a Ferrari or Lambo (although I probably could have bought one by now ) I like the finer things in life & I work bloody hard to fund the stuff I buy, Just because you don't agree/can't afford stuff like that doesn't mean everything should be cheap. The point i was trying to make was that for £ 1700 quid for a used exhaust you could make more mods, BUT YOU HAVE LOTS OF MONEY AND I DONT!!!! Spending that amount of money on an exhaust is great if you have learning difficulties, BUT as you can afford to I WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO YOU MAKING AN OFFER FOR THE EXHAUST!!! Theres no way these cars should cost a bomb. I personally think theres to many dreamers about at present. craig Why shouldn't these cars be expensive? Looks like mild steel mid-pipe to me, can't comment on the y-pipe as I can't see it but bet it's mild too. Looks to be a top quality job, although I personally don't like the look of those rear silencers but that's just my taste. You done well there fella! I would assume for that price its only y-pipe back rather than cat back £150 is from cat back. Didnt ask about cat replacement pipes. I can find out though. craig

Thats what i thought but i think due to the amount of business he gets, he can afford it. He was telling me today that hes got so much work that he could stay open for 24hours and still struggle to keep up with the work. As i said previously, i think he knows value for money and thats been the secret to his success. Hes been in the same place for 46 years and has loyal customers, hence the reason for advertising. Very grunty but not ott. craig Easy tiger, if your happy using you car to advertise then all well and good, There are plenty of good companies that can do exhaust systems for reasonable prices and don't feel the need to stick crappy stickers over your bodywork. R This tiger is tame mate, was just shoving in the pic for forum benefits. Ive done a fair bit of business with this guy and dont mind the advertising, especially since hes so nice. Yeah mate, Elite are based in hillington glasgow. I got him to do an exhaust for my old mr2 turbo about 6 years ago but wasnt that impressed with the welds etc. Looked very messy! craig p.s im from irvine.

Hi folks, carried out my first mod today. Got a custome exhaust made up for £150, twin 4inch pipes. Got the same company to redo my rays next month. Im getting the spokes done in anthracite and the rims mirror polished for another bargain price of £360. 1.6s are good but a good standard let with xe/let suspension will kill it in the corners. Its all about the suspension and geo with these cars. Ive had 2.0 8v 130s as well which was the best but a let on the straights will embarass any supercar as long as its set up well!!!! pics to follow when i can get them scanned..
