  1. Wont change the speed signal, that fed via CANbus from the ABS.VDC etc.
  2. Problem solved, I disabled the Video shares folder than had just a couple of files on and the other video had all the films and they are now all visible, hadn't realised that windows would have a problem with similar file names.
  3. I have just discovered that the new video files that I have uploaded do not appearer in the nas web based browser, or the TVs so its starting to look like the files have been somehow changed to another type that is not visible to windows but are to media trans-coders, I know the nas uses a Linux based file system, but it shouldn't have change the files to only be read by Linux, I did download a free Linux file browser but the free version wont view over the network.
  4. Sounds like you have over done the adjustment, you could also have a problem with the master cylinder if the pedal was sticking before, and the current adjustment will just exacerbate this, and the cylinder could also be not completely uncovering the transfer ports inside.
  5. I don't think its that as all the video files are playable via DLNA, I had that problem with the Stora when using DLNA...took ages to see all the files, yet the windows network interface would show all files.
  6. I know there are some petty tech savvy people here so I though I would ask in the hope someone can shed some light on this problem? I recently bought a cheap Zyexl NSA320S to replace my old Net gear Stora, which I thought had died, however it turns out it hasn't. Anyway I am a bit of a novice when it comes to the finer points of network nas, the Stora was extremely easy to set up, but I have configured the 320S as best I can and I transferred a lot of video files to it, and was able to access them from my windows 7 laptop via local network as well as the built in interface. Now all was well for a while, but yesterday I discovered than I can no longer see any of the video files via local network, I can however access then via my TV and the built in steaming interface, now I don't recall changing anything, and I have since been through all the options and shares again but the result is still the same, I have already tried "show hidden files" in windows to no avail, so can anyone tell me whats likely to have happened please? Just been having a look again and the not seeing the files seems to be intermittent sometimes I can see them briefly and then the next time the folder is opened there gone again.
  7. I somehow doubt it...waits for "car gone into limp mode again" Battery symbol comes on if there is insufficient charge rate, and you will get a CEL if the power steering pump pressure is low, but neither will cause limp mode, in fact if PS pressure is low limp mode would make it worse, apart from the give away heavy steering.
  8. Worried now, not looking forward to my Bose failing which I guess is inevitable Its usually the tape player that fails, but If you have the TV tuner option fitted you can add another audio and video source.
  9. You would need to apply some serious pressure either way to actually effect the geometry, and then it would only be very slight.
  10. If they are anything like the Skyline 350GT sat nav/audio system, its hard wired into the CANbus system and a real pain to do anything sensible to, unless you rip out everything and start again, and then you still need an interface to whats left for it to function properly.
  11. Give Joe Graver TA Jeff Sutton Mechanics Wellesley Street, King's Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 1QD 01553 765224 a call. He is not a 350Z specialist, but a dam good mechanic and really knows his stuff, and knows Japanese cars, and wont mess you about. Just tell him Dick from across the road recommended him. I also sent EzyGiz here to him and he was very pleased with the service, http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/93900-recommended-garage-for-a-350z-in-kings-lynn/
  12. Its likely that what your feeling is when the helper spring reaches a certain point in its travel.
  13. I don't think you will find that no or low alternator output will trigger limp mode, that's reserved for engine some sensors, I would suspect that there is another issue causing it to drop into limp mode.
  14. There is a garage that I would recommend in Kings Lynn, if you don't want to sort it your self.
  15. Not seen lambda logging like that from mine, been having a look to see if I can find any old logs, I did have both ECU data-scan std lambda and Innovate wide-band logs, if I find them I will post them up.
  16. Looks rather odd to me too, are they 2V wide-band sensors? the voltage range only reaches 1V? what software is it and is it configured correctly?
  17. You would need an FAC rated air gum to sort a crow anyway, best of getting a bird scarer, even birds of prey are not effective, I have seen crows mob a buzzard around my area.
  18. one?? Only one fan motor left I'm afraid, used to refurb them.
  19. If one lambda is dead the ECU runs that bank rich, so its unlikely that if that side has a leak it will make enough difference, however if the is an air leak pre lambda on the side that still working it will result in the lambda seeing more air so the ECU thinks that it needs to inject more fuel to compensate, so resulting in even higher Co.
  20. I have a spare refurbed one if your interested.
  21. Unfortunately after four years of building it, and spending more money than I would care to mention, I got bored and fancied a new project, the wife wanted me to keep it. Still one of my biggest regrets though!
  22. If there is no voltage variation then lambda is dead, which will account for the fail as the ECU will run fuelling rich by default. I actually meant that if there is a leak in the exhaust above the std lambda, then the ECU will be trying to compensate for the extra air, so this will also screw with the Co that the MOT sensor will see.
  23. Did they give you a lambda voltage/AFR or just Co? what was the Co? if the air leak is above the lambda then it will effect the reading, if below by any degree than no, can you get a lambda voltage via Nissan datascan or similar software?
