Its quite common, it can be a dry actuator arm pivot point, which if its accessible can be lubricated, it could also be the clutch release bearing, in which case there is nothing you can do, and sometimes its the clutch pedal itself which can be lubricated...if you can get at it.

Well I finally took the plunge and bought myself a PS4 on a deal with Argos along with Fallout4 and Elder Scrolls online, haven't tried that yet but quite impressed with fallout 4, although I am finding it a fair bit harder than 3 or New Vegas, the combat seems a lot harder...more enemies and harder to kill.

Great work! is it just me or does the front look like it needs a brace across the front suspension turrets? they look a little flimsy to me, especially with all that sideways action.
-
Save your money, the headers will help, but for the price its an expensive gain, same goes for the plenum, AFAIK the Kinetix is intended for FI really and wont make I big difference, better off with a plenum spacer IMO. You can still attain 300BHP or close with decats, exhaust and plenum spacer with a remap.

Exhaust smells in the cabin are usually due to small leaks in the exhaust manifolds or the joints from manifold to down pipe, never had any smells that where not the result of a leak on any of my cars, turbo or N/A. Also a good idea to rout catch can outlet back to intake or at least pipe to under the car to avoid nasty niffs.
-
Just use a slightly shorter intake pipe and save yourself some money, unless your planning on fording a few streams.

The strut brace is a 5 minute job, but as I said horses for courses, you where asking for cheap plugs, hence my answer.
-
Performance aside, and I challenge anyone to actually scientifically prove, not just makers super claims, that one plug is better than another. Completely disagree! I have used nothing but copper in all my cars, if your not paying someone else to do it, the cost is around £10-15 for a set of six, anyone who actually self maintains and mods their car will most likely check the plug condition periodically anyway, so changing them is no problem, personally I would rather know the condition of my plugs (also a good indication of engine combustion condition anyway) rather than fit them and forget for a couple of years or more. Horses for courses! if your a mechanical numpty and rely on a garage for servicing then yes let them fit the long life version IE Iridium or Platinum and pay and be happy, if your the opposite then its a no brainier
-
I just use a std copper core equivalent, as the only difference in using exotic metal plugs is longevity, otherwise it wont make one bit of difference.....other than saving you money.

New H02S sensor 6 months ago - faulty already!?
Tricky-Ricky replied to thedon's topic in 350Z Technical
Regardless of sensor make they are basically there to monitor the condition of the cats, some cars seem to get away with no CEL and some get CEL as soon as cats are swapped out, and some get away with using spacers, its the luck of the draw, The CAT sensor is looking for high oxygen content unlike the front engine sensor, so that's why spacers work sometimes as they are not in the main exhaust flow, but I think there is a fair amount of leeway built into the figure that the ECU is expecting hence why you didn't have a CEL for several months. -
Take a fine file to them, and then sand smooth, it will save a lot of work, it will also get rid of the pock marks that will hold the alloy corrosion and allow it to come back through the paint.
-
Don't forget that the gains are accumulative, IE a small amount from each mod, the plenum spacer although giving a gain, its more to do with getting better airflow distribution to the rear cylinders which are somewhat compromised but the slightly wedge shape of the plenum.

The reason for the CEL is because the expected signal voltage is out of range, because of the absence of the cats, which they are there to monitor, as said get them turned off, some get away with spacers but it wont always help. -
Calling all builders & structural engineers.

Are you sure its a party wall? a party wall is usually shared between two properties and cannot be touched without the other party's consent, hence the name, it usually is the main dividing/supporting wall between to properties. -
May have to give it a watch.......once I find my tinfoil hat

LOL! Who is zeitgeist? guess I shouldn't have mentioned the words "conspiracy theory" I draw my own conclusions, but its no secret that there are people ( notice how I didn't use the word "government's" etc who profit for any kind of conflict, and the more extreme the conflict or faction the easier it is to manipulate them. LOL! at the Daily mail....if I had believed them I would have been out and bought my arctic survival suit in October.

You might just get a small blue flame on the overrun, but nothing like a turbocharged engine with a non recirc BOV and a MAF, You will also find that Ferrari's and Lambos etc will also flame because of the cams and being mapped to inject a little fuel on the overrun, but in general as soon as the throttle is closed no fuel is injected. And to answer AMT question, no nothing bad will happen.

Yes darkest Suffolk = £800-1K Greater London = £2K +

Well if the scum can be identified before they act shoot them first.....however with the powers that be, that's seldom an option. And despite personally wishing them much pain and suffering, you don't torture a rabid dog...you just put it down.
-
I am inclined to think there are far darker forces behind this, it maybe a bit of conspiracy theory, but there are people that will always profit form political, religious and just pure unrest and war, it pays to keep things on knife edge, its very easy to manipulate fanatics! But its a terrible thing and the culprit's deserve shooting on sight regardless.

Some of the crap kits cut ignition timing to create unburned fuel, N/As don't run rich enough to have unburned fuel to ignite via just a plug in the exhaust so they need a fuel supply....so you can have a nice extra little tank of petrol in your boot to catch fire when some idiot runs into the back of you while watching your really cool flames

Looking good, just don't ride it in the rain.

Great project, will be watching with interest.

If the HR still has the std throttle position restriction, you may find removing that will help, but otherwise as said a final drive ratio change will help with getting there faster, however this will still entail revving the nuts off it.

I bought a Samsung UEHU8500 in 55" earlier this year, its last years second to top spec model, and I bought it over this years model on picture quality, fantastic, especially when streeming all my movies from NAS it upscales these really well, in fact it does everything well, just don't expect it to do much with rubbish SC transmissions, I also agree about the curve, it does nothing, but its something you wont even notice after a week or two.
