  1. It's funny watching people's egos being bruised though.
  2. That is indeed a myth. Parts are th same pretty much bar brakes if non brembo. Also never heard about this auto romour? Also I wouldnt bother with Low mileage personally I'd go on condition. Id rather have a clean 100k zed than a tatty 60k one. JDM's aren't under sealed either so check for rust under neith but tbh the early uk ones can be rusty too. Remember some jdms can have brembos so keep an eye out for big gold calipers.
  3. You probably already know but it had aftermarket manifolds fitted to it.
  4. Or maybe he's got the subtleness. he's been building up to this.
  5. Also smd I think you've got the taste for it. See why people do it now
  6. The troll level on this thread is over 9000!
  7. Or something like this where you enter your salary after tax and it tells you what percentile you're in: http://www.theguardi...ic:in body link That's pretty cool! We should all do it and then do a poll of the results on here to see what percentile you fall into. Apparently I live in poverty lol!
  8. odd, many users have found the obd2 doesnt work. Maybe yours does jobd aswell? My import road tax is the standard £2xx a year.
  9. Get a uk if you can afford it and its in good condition? If not go for the highest speced import ( ST ). The JDM's need more options throwing at them e.g. band expander or new radio, some don't come with brembo brakes, exhaust is quieter as in the intake. Also you need JOBD to read codes not obd2. UK if you can, but I'd personally take a good condition import over a ragged uk spec. Also insurance is the same.
  10. each to their own 150 a month is £1800 a year! Each to their own though
  11. I know this isn't any help but that insurance is silly. Members younger than you (no points though) have had much much cheaper premiums. If I coughed up that much for insurance I'd be sick TBH. I look at other cars until the cost of insurance was 1k or under. Paying £2000 on a 350z is just sillyness IMO. Good luck though and try a few comparisons sites and phone up and haggle if possible too.
  12. A little early but by late spring il be able to compare them properly against the f1a2.
  13. Oi, you trying to take my job on the forum! No I am far too likeable Sent from the golf club... True, people don't like honest folk.
  14. Oi, you trying to take my job on the forum!
  15. I completely agree but for example listen to radio 1 on dab then listen to kiss or another smaller station. The quality isn't as good for some reason.
  16. You think so? I perfer the sound of dab. The smaller channels seems to have worse quality for radio 1 and 1xtra where very clear.
  17. +1. The pure dab is an option but that uses fm to send the signal to your current headunit so sound won't be as crisp as a proper dab. Some people swear by them though.
  18. Just be happy with it? Why justify it to other people or anyone? People say why not buy a BMW or something fast etc etc. I dont mind looking like a mink to someone aslong as I enjoy it. I used to have a similar thought process but since I dropped that I have been happier with most things in life.
  19. If I wasn't happy with a car. I'd just sell it. Maybe the EP3 is the perfect car for you. I wouldn't pay to drive something I didn't really like that much.
  20. Honestly mate its cheap at that price. An Itg maxogen is the only induction kit that makes power. It's about £400 by itself.Mark fish is a legend with F4R engines and its already cammed which IMO is amazing. Haywood and Scott is exhaust won't have been cheap since they are possibly the best custom exhaust makers in the uk. Also tour de force remap. I'm sure that guy used to remap f1 cars. Those mods alone make it so cheap it's crazy IMO. Sorry for the thread crap and glws.
  21. What? No pep talk! No condescending reasons he is a fool etc etc. I think someone has hacked Ekonas account.
