They were rears. I'm assuming by "quite frankly staggering" means you think it was good. Tyremen told me 10-15k would have been good. I still think it's pretty bad myself. What? I got like 13-14k out of my rears and honestly I don't push it at all. It's a pretty heavy car with a fair amount of torque going to the rear. Not saying its the fasting thing ever but it's not kind to the tyres like a super mini.

Firstly why? Secondly they look like horrible speakers. You will also lose the good sound stage IMO.

This might sound a little odd. But bear with me. Bit unorthodox. Why dont YOU go and test drive both and the.YOU decide is what you prefer. A good few 350 owners upgraded to the 370 and a good few could but didnt as they preferred their 350 more or something else. It's you driving the car at the end of the day. If you had already test drove both you wouldn't be asking us to make up your mind.

Your fronts just werent running enough power then But I'm glad the rear speakers are gone in my car. It dragged the sound stage back. Plus you can never find as good coaxs then you can comps. Plus you can't run as much power through them and if you did because of the aiming it might be a little painful.

That's a lot of worms... Like I said, it will do for now. Adding amps and swapping out for better speakers might happen, but not for a while True enough. Do you plan to amp the rear speakers too?

I just messed about with my setup the other day. I was running 60wrms each side so 120wrms in total for the woofers and 35wrms for the tweeters as I'm running active. Noticed the wiring was wrong so bridged the amp and now EACH side is getting 180wrms so 360wrms in total and the tweeters gain is down but still 35wrms x 2 so 70wrms. It's soo clean and it kicks like a donkey. I wouldn't bother running from my headunit anymore its not even worth it IMO (once you amped it) that is, Gain turned down on my sub too but that kicking harder than ever too. Good work though mate.

I've never tried them personally but I've heard they are pretty good. As good as goodyear f1's or the higher end tyres I don't know but I'm sure they will be on par with the VUS,

Yes. I sometimes average 31mpg and my rears where nearly gone in about 10k miles.

Just get the code read. To be fair it might not of had any problems. What did you expect the garage to do. Give it a 6 month road test I don't mean that in the way it will read but see if from the other side. Do you have a code reader does your mates? If not you can do a pedal dance. If a member is close by they can show you and read the code for free. I personally think it was unlucky. I don't think it's a duff car or you've been "done" just unfortunate. Once you get it sorted and go for a drive it will be so so worth it.

Get the car hot. Rag the crap out of it. Clear it out and get the cats HOT. Then get a reading.

Buts it's always I get these tyres from eBay or gumtree etc. The sizes are always messed up. Im not sure if it's because the ratio between from and back is the same or maybe and too the change is so small not noticed by the car. The guys running 305s on the bank and pram tyres on the from will have problems. The guys running a big differences front and back have problems.

Depends on which Avonas really, but they wouldn't be my first choice. However, if you're happy with them then stick with them, as that's what you know. Well no sh*t Sherlock, thanks for the input U mad bro? Just making sure they know that mixed tyres won't kill them.
