A lot of people think we won't know when we have reached peak oil till we are way past it. Also I disagree with the oil companies being over thr next thing. If its electric or hydrogen it's something all of us can make at home. Yes they can charge for it but it's not scarce like oil.

I don't want to re open a can of worms so this is my opinion. You may not agree with it. I used to have 18" standard 6-7 spoke alloys. I still think they look better than the rays. Got some rays put them on and car was instantly more nimble. Same tyres etc the rays are much much lighter. Dropping the profile To 40's over 45's even makes a small difference.

I personally think if your keeping 18" wheels go for the rays. Yeah the aren't the best looking but it will handle better. If they where 19" I'd say try them out.

Yeah but most of the weight is from the batteries. If and when batteries get better less weight etc. plus the Z is a heavy ass car to start with. Surprisingly the Vq weighs about the same as a 2l turbo like the sr20 or is it slightly less. Depend on how the put the weight too knowing Nissan they will dangle them from a pole 10m above the car It might be 4wd depending on what system they use. E.g. Fully ev mode like Toyota or just ima Honda style. Plus in the Lexus gs450h it's rwd with a petrol 3.5 v6 and an electric motor while the ls600h is 4wd with the electrics doing the front wheels.

Trying to solve a missfire. I'd change the plugs. Then get one good coilpack. Change each one until the missfire goes away. To change coilpacks isn't hard. Strut brace and engine cover off. Intake pipe off too. Small nut and a plug and it comes off, replace and plug in. Start it see if it works. Does it only happen when the car is hot?

Why? About £60 for the plug about £60-100 for each coilpack and labour on top of that.
