How do you think reducing heat reduces the lag? A turbo works by compressing air and forcing it into the combustion chamber. The more air between turbo and chamber, the longer it takes to compress that air. Wrapping of the exhaust will not make any difference to the lag, only help to reduce intake temps in the engine bay, a feat which is better accomplished by intercooling or chargecooling. No harm in wrapping at all, but it won't benefit the car in the way you think. You won't be increasing the lag a bit, you'll be increasing it massively by a factor of however much longer rear mount pipe work is to front mount. I'm guessing at at least twice as much, more likely three or four times. Keeping the gasses hot spins the turbo faster apparently. Some "race" cars wrap front to back since hot air travels faster. You could be right and in theory you are 100% right but unless you have tried it on the car you don't know how it will be.

Well I has this conversation with a few days ago agree its not a van. Generally referred to as a jeep which is wrong too. Some good points where made like we call trucks lorrys but we would still say truck for a lorry too. It shouldn't be a truck since its smaller than a van. I agree with you but its better on paper but not for me. Don't get me wrong I'd love one but I personally found for me anyway it didn't give me the same feeling the Z did. The e46's have bushes everywhere and they tend to fail but they are usually very good. I agree that the Zed has a lot more soul and the V6 and low down grunt make it a great car. For me, the M3 is the best alternative that can accommodate kids in the back...... I also like the fact that everyone thinks its just a e46 but if you see a petrol head they will look or give you that nod. Also its better on the motorway in it's more refined. The engine is just something else though, its metallicy and it pulls hard.

More powerful but the weight blunts performance. Plus more weight means the engines are working harder so less mpg or economy.

The current one Is 330ca but doesn't always seem man enough í ½í²ª I agree. I changed the battery terminals for UK ones then fitted a uk sized battery. What size battery did you use? 005L on uk can't remember what the jdm size was sorry. Not on a JDM.

If a cayman is only 1sec which if competing I'm sure is loads but I'd rather have a boxster cheaper just as fast and some top down action.

Either way IMO track times is the worst way of comparing cars for the road.
