  1. Get a square import plate up front its smaller than a uk one and if you have 5 to 6 letters you can make it smaller with out being silly illegal.
  2. I am getting my lowering springs fitted soon. I was wondering if I should replace my bushes as my car is coming to 75k. I changed the bushes in my old car to new oem ones and the car felt brand new "tight" even. Took the vagueness out of the steering. So should I replace the bushes at the same time as loweing with either OEM ones or whiteline OR should I just see which ones are needing to be changed and only replace them? Thanks
  3. Oh it is Sorry - just caught up with this thread. I find the power button very good for overtaking - it maintains a gear ratio for longer before changing up, and is ideal in combination with the tiptronic shift. Huh? it may be me but is the tip tronic "manual" as such so you can shift up and down when ever you feel like it?
  4. I know the engine block table is very very cliche but I really want to do one. The one on ebay is 450pounds so I want to make my own. So I need an engine block get it shot blasted and maybe powder coated. I would also like other things like alloy wheels side tables. I think I will go to college for a short course in welding. Basically I need a project to keep me occupied. So any advice on where to get an engine? Welding advice? eqipment advice? Also I have no mechanical knowledge

So does somebody say v-tec just kicked in, yo?? lets for get about this NOS vs Nitrous jargon and concentrate on the important matters, like me understanding this joke People think Honda's are crazy fast cos they rev to 9000rpm but you only get power at 5k bit like a turbo there is a lag and then it kicks . To get power you have to rev the hell out of them until Vtec kicks in YO! like
  6. Its possible its is a 03 plate as they brought it out in Japan first. E.g. mines is a 52 but you didnt get them in uk until 03 so you can tell mine is a import.

  8. Is that with any tuning or just rolling roaded with standard ecu? RR with std ECU, berks, buddy club and a pop charger My manis are UK made DC sports copies, i got them for a rediculously low price As for the plenum spacer, i made more on the dyno than other cars with plenums etc.. by a fair way. Its all in the buddy club methinks Hi Adrian, Where did you get the dc copies from? Also do you know what size the end collectors are on the manifold? Thanks
  9. why have they used one exhaust rather than true dual to save weight, get roung noise restrictions or just cos one can cope with the flow?
  10. K1 is usually loud, quite loud. The K2, IMO gives a more refined sound, not as loud but more classy sounds like a nismo. Im going for the k1 as the 350 doesnt sound the way it should.

  12. dc japspeed I looking to get a japspeed Y pipe unless anyone else knows of a better one, Japspeed K1 and dc or japspeed manifold.
  13. They are oem size and wrapping is a good idea but not much room. They do come in different finishes you know. Yes I want the ceramic not ss as the ss is crazy £ IMO. Also what size is oem ? Rt the ceramic ones are about £350, its a choice between dc and japspeed.
  14. I'm thinking of buying a Dc sports manifold but I can find the size of the end pipe or collector. I have checked on most websites and its just the marketing speel and dc's website is down. Does anyone know the size? Also should I heat wrap my manifolds?
  15. Yes but what does that mean e.g. ok I know it has a v6 so that will be kinda heavy but what else weighs it down so much? I know on older cars like the gto and 300zx there was alot of deadening and stuff is it the same with the 350?

    I am buying an exhaust soon but this way it stops drone but you get a better noise. Its not possible on the 350z but i thought about getting it done before buying an exhaust

    Did you even read the write up? I dont see why you cant take a pipe or two pre silencer to past the silencer like on the link for a 911 or like this on a boxster link. Its two pipes before the silencer coming to the tips. This makes it sound nice under load but no drone or noise when at steady speeds or idle.
