  1. He is always like that don't worry Just mention mixed tyres and he might implode!
  2. It only adds weight atm as it has to have a tradinational system fitted too. Over time they will make it realible enough and do away with the rack. Only has weight since the traditional rack is fitted as a fail safe but in time it will be done away with. Reading up about it makes sense. Electric steering is getting better and I bet everyone moaned when hydraulic steering was first introduced. Also you could make a left hand drive right hand drive super quick and cheap.
  3. Back in the day 2k on wheels for a £15k car was sensible. Now 2k wheels on a 5k car its just silly.

Is it more to do with the suze of the wheel or thr offset so they don't get lost in thr arches?

I think it looks pretty good tbh. But I have been accused of having no taste.
  6. No one was hurt that's the main thing : thumbs:
  7. They could be. It's the bulbs that dictate colour nothing else.
  8. My JDM has standard oems and it's about 8k too. You can just change the bulbs. Do you want to know firmament for a hid or none hid car. Also you would know by the wiring and ballast if it was oem of not.
  9. There is still a traditional rack and pinion setup just incase. It will get better over time no doubt.
  10. I'm not putting my name down for a few reasons. Scotland's a big place lol so it depends where abouts it is. Also depends which day it is to make sure I'm free. It's just abit vague on details. When people know more I think more names will be put down.

    Y pipe and Cats

I also think the stillen's shape is better for flow and doesnt have the tight bends like the normal Y pipe has.
  12. Then I'd stick to petrol 100%. Better mpg round town. Unless your doing silly millage a blown turbo, injectors or dmf will make it expensive IMO.

    Y pipe and Cats

I've not heard of a stillen pipe that's failed. Why is anything more expensive than anything, development costs. Your money you can buy what you please though. If my flexis have failed again this year I'm getting a stillen. The motordyne Xyz pipe can have a cat or straight through pipe. Pricey though.

But the flexis don't flex in that way I don't think. The engine will rock side to side and I don't see how the flexis will help. Also the normal Y pipe design looks worse than the stillen. Has slotted weak points and the flexis will fail after about a year. I don't think stillen would sell the y pipe of it would fail but the convential y pipe alway fails in the same place even if it's oem, Japspeed or nismo.

I think the stillen is better without the flexis. The shape looks better for flow and less weak points.
  16. If you rinse with a watering can and you can take 2 buckets you wont use that much water. Also there is pressure washers that can be filled up.
  17. wow, thats what I call an upgrade. Glad your happy.
  18. motorway or city driving. Motorway a good diesel and city I'd get a small petrol.
  19. On the boot! I kinda like that though. Usually you see pristine cars and the owners own other things and say yeah I do this or that etc etc but you know it just sits in the garage and is worked on by someone else. There is a honestness (that even a word) in a car that's used normally and is owned by someone who you can tell loves it and drives it a lot. It's not kept super mint as its actually used.

    Flashers

Never flash 350 owners. All set of dbags. I used to flash any 172/182 owners they ALWAYS used to wave or flash etc even the girls. The 350 drivers just ignore you or look like your mental. I actually spoke to a guy who owns one. He wasn't busy or anything and he was just rude. Never had that from any other drivers even porsche drivers!
  21. I can't spend silly money on glasses as I will lose/break them some how, and I'm poor
  22. I'd fit the HFC's first as that will make the exhaust much louder. If its still quiet then a buddy club is pretty loud apparently.
