I agree. The k2 and scorpian sound similar and with a y pipe and hi flows will sound even better. But the nismos can be sold for a good price.

My dad has a Q7 and its been perfect in this weather, never got stuck once unlike my GTR i was the laughing stock of the street getting stuck in it lol, its 4 wheel drive yeah but rear biased when pulling away, i does have snow mode but that only works if the car is moving i think all it does it lower the revs on pulling away and gear changes tbh! thanks for all the input guys, still not decided what to go for yet . Paul TB fair to the q7 it was snowing so bad the road got closed (motorway) even lorry werent moving. I just thought awd is as impressive on snow as I thought. I honestly thought my 1.5d 106 would be better. I may be wrong. The q7 was on gsd3s aswell so I dont know.

Lol i agree 100% with the comments above, I thought it was just me that doesnt like topgear anymore. TBH dun dun duhh I started to perfer 5th gear for all the reasons above then 5th gear when crap.

Learn to "ghostride" the Zed. On my trip back from Germany to the UK, I got coaught in the worst of it and it took me 18 hours to get back. Stick the Zed in 1st or 2nd, then gently lift the clutch, no throttle, maybe feather the clutch till you start moving. Once moving, resist the urge to step on the throttle, just let the Zed "ghostride" itself thru the snow and ice. +1 if your driving in snow/ice its not a race. you will see most cars (fwd) pass you but dont try to keep up as you wont. Also if you know the route then slow down early and use your brakes like there is an egg under the pedal. dont press hard enough to activate abs or you wont stop. Use more of the lane also as it gives you more room for error. For the record, i do know about this and while i am in no way a driving god, i am not a driving 'tard either. I was at my parents house where the snow on the road was about 20cm and with then zed's ground clearance i think i am justified in using the term stranded! What you on about? I was just saying it, its general advice for everyone and anyone who doesnt know.

why would you buy a rear wheel jeep for the winter? That would be a nightmare to drive surely. IMO lighter cars are better in the snow so small light cars. I drove a Q7 in the snow and it was crap.

not good man, if its -5 like it is here today and the warm water is 30degrees thats a 35degree difference and its enough to cause thermal shock to the windows and crack them. IMO of course.

Hi mate my JDM does it aswell. Is stupid as when reversing it sounds like a truck. Mine doesnt have reversing sensors either . I think it comes from or near the bit for when you leave your lights on.

no one use FK1000P? Also if red mist is a sealer than should you use it over wax? Wax is on top of sealent usuallty as wax needs to breathe. ChrisS supernatural is a great wax and lasts long and gives you wicked shine. Collenite gives you good shine and great longetivty. But supernatural is 2times the price.

IMO go to the place you want to work, tell them you will work 2 weeks without pay if your good then ask them to take you on. Wont cost you much plus you might get a job.

I have an 02 jdm with K2, hi flow cats and a japspeed Y pipe. Sounds brilliant not loud around town so not chavvy but has some bass when you put in the revs between 2-3k anything over that sounds ferrariesk. None of the k2's I have heard sound this good but none of them had the Y or hi flow cats. It seems to pull better and feels more responsive but it could be a placebo because of the sound. For the sound alone its worth it.
