    An odd request

Could someone photoshop some e46 m3 csl wheels on to a 350? ones like that. I know they might not fit or be a pain but they are my favorite alloys. Thanks
  2. Not really helpful, but some people say that the swissvax samurai is good for japanese cars and some people say it makes no difference. I personally would just go for the best normal wax as it will work good on any car.
  3. Could someone explain to me as im not the brightest what an open loop and a closed loop map are?
  4. yeah but vtec engines dont have any torque . No im playing
  5. It could just need a reset. When i drove the 350z when the battery kept dieing it was a little jerky as in there wasnt much accuracy to the pedal. But after a few days it will get used to me or maybe i get used to it hmm?
  6. I sometimes see the guy on dalkeith road so il flyer him if i get a chance.
  7. No wasnt me. Im still rolling on my D4 plate albiet a smaller one.
  8. Why do JDM's have such small batteries? The uk spec has 660cca and is 68AH or mine does. My old Delphi one was the same rating as that bosch one. Bosch batterys are good batteries though.
  9. Techincally isnt an oil drinking better as it always being topped up with fresh oil? That is considering it is topped up all the time.
  10. In my opinion no but the way the engine has been treated, run in and so on will affect this. Some of the 05 or 06 rev up engines use more.
  11. Mine have that button also. They dip the mirrors in reverese and go back to normal in gear.
  12. I would avoid them mate if you can they have a pretty bad rep. I use Mackie motors in Arbroath. Give them a phone and see how much they quote you. My p3 im sure was only 220.
  13. Hmm your lucky. My battery was a delphi and it never seemed to good. The terminals I got from R35Lee but im sure ZMANALEX could hook you up. The UK battery was cheaper than a jdm one aswell.
  14. Where did you get if from? How much was it? I am sure other members could use this info for when their battery goes wrong Are jdm batterys really bad? My UK battery lasted 3 years and 37k then gave up. Bit crap really, my old GTI battery lasted 9 years! I replaced it with a bigger halfords battery for my corrado that i had lying around on charge. 50mm too wide (i think the standard one is 230mm) but it just fit in and works Yes it is. Its like half the size of the uk battery. Its only got 330cca!
  15. So the battery fit like a charm. I used a 005L which is a uk battery. You need to change the terminals but if you have a JDM then its worth it. no more 3 days and your battery goes flat and it starts so quick now.
  16. Ahh cool. If I see you about give me a wave .
  17. was probably me. . are you in dundee alot?
  18. I've got a 02 plate import so it rempas itself to a certain degree i believe....? But no aftermarket remap no..... Nope, it dosnt remap, its just got differences between wide and narrow band. Still wont adapt properly for the cats, putting them back in will have just caused the ECU to relearn to its normal setting. You will probably find you were running really rich. If you put them back in, get it mapped and you will see a huge difference with the decats I said this when I first joined. decats will work if its remapped to. Everyone is like no with back pressure and what not. Yes you do need back pressure on a na but if you look inside a cat you see why it is so restrictive. I even bought sports cats I could have put that money to a remap. Ahh well.
  19. I know what you mean mate same thing I did. First get your eibach springs. Then you will need rear toe and camber arms. They are £150 for a pair. CS supplies them well worth it. It sounds stupid but lowering springs completly change the look of the car. It looks so much smoother. Handling wise I got uprated ARBs so Im not sure how much it helps.
  20. no but the rest of them are. Im sure thats what the meets look like . BTW I am joking so please dont take offence.
  21. It lives on Pitkerro rd - know the owner.......would hardly call Stobswell - "the hood" ROFL Yeah, he has some nice wheels on it. "hood" is short for neighbourhood. So when talking to people you just refer to Dundee as my hood. Really?!! Gosh golly you don't say?! No I dont mean to be patronising but you guys are a little older and this new fangled lingo might be a little weird for you. As you are making a big deal about hood I would say you oldies arent up to date

    petrol!

I know your isnt a JDM but surely you would want to use the highest ron within reason, not something like 102 obviously. Also BP ultimate is the same stuff sold in sainsburrys isnt it? Its alot cheaper there.
