    Bloody Nigel

You get to listen to Chris Moyles in the morning, thats what time Im usually getting home lol. But mine is a jdm with bose so no radio but If it is under 6c it will skip. If it heated up and fine then you open the window its starts skipping again! Cant wait to get my new headunit fitted. Also who is Nigel?
  3. Guy who had an m3 had the 19 csls on one side and the 19 m3s on the other. Looked wicked as you couldnt see both at the same time. Also if the tires sizes and alloys where the same how would it wreck your car?
  4. Dont underdrive pullyies underdrive so there is less drag or parasitic drag on the engine? But if you under drive the alternator then dont run a massive audio system. I could be wrong though.
  5. +1, but flattery isnt going to give you a mod invite
  6. Hi Bennet, I know your busy mate when would be the best time to phone you? Thanks Daood
  7. Ok, But the 370 is still a v6 front engine rear wheel drive not mid engined. Mid engine cars drive beatifully.

    HID kits

most xenons need projector style lights rather than reflective. Legally you need headlight washers and self levelers. But on my brothers boxster no one says a thing.
  9. Not really. Im not sure what ohm the bose amp works but if you get speakers which can run at or under that ohm you can use them. E.g. lets say the bose runs at 3 ohms, If you buy 4 ohm speakers you willl run into trouble but if you have 2 ohm speakers they will be more than happy to run like that. DVC subs can be wired in many different ways e.g. 2ohm dvc can be 1ohm or 4 but not 2.
  10. Fi make good infinate baffle subs.
  11. The weight aswell did they build it out of lead?
  12. Crappy headlights, Minidisc, Changing tyre size will mess up the traction control, and doors dont lock automatically and once they are locked they dont open when pulling the handle from the inside.
  13. Doesnt look that bad tbh. I wouldnt take it to nissan though. Also it would involve the insureance as they will hammer you next year and also if it was your fault why would they pay out? all IMO ofcourse.
  14. it really does IMO, oil type, battery size, tyre size, bulb size, filter codes, common used part numbers and so on. Saves alot of time.
  15. You can get a better condition or newer import for the same money. You also get a few good things like nicer rear bumper imo, folding mirrors and most engines make more power. But uk you will get a uk spec car with brembos and headlight washers. Also when you say import some people dont want to touch it.
  16. Your right about the coming weather. I was thinking 5-40 or 5-30 silkolene. I used 5-30w in this service and its runnig great.
  17. Haven driven both cars the boxster is a 986 3.2 . The boxster is a better car in someways. Firstly its faster than a stock 350z, its lighter too and you can really feel that. Traction control isnt needed mid engined cars i used to think where twitchy because of gran turismo but its beatiful. You have oodles of grip yet you can chuck it about. it feels like my 172 with more power and no understeer. You can really push them whilst feeling safe. Im too scared to do that in my 350 but thats why im getting driver training soon
  18. AFAIK, closed loop is when it uses the O2 sensors in the exhaust to judge the AFR and adjusts fueling to try and hit the target AFR. Open loop is when it doesnt use the sensors to adjust it, either because the cats arent up to temp (so wont get a proper reading from the O2 sensors) or at WOT, here I beleive it uses a lookup table to guess what fueling it should use. As I say, thats how I understand it, sure Abbey will correct me if I'm wrong! Ahh ok Chris thanks. The ecu's must have to work pretty fast then.
