  1. Sounds good, probably the later the better, to allow folk to get things arrange in time/purchase mods etc. What's others opinions? That was my thinking also.
  2. Decats will make you lose power if your car isnt remapped for them. Berks Hi flows are the better ones and Kinextix are also decent but they arent as good as the berks.
  3. could i call dibs please pm on way
  4. why not get stronger nuts?
  5. why? i run kinetix and find them to be very good, not had any issues. Alot of people say on track they fall apart. never come across that before mainly on my350 the us site they say that.

  7. wow it even shows you where the "exhaust pipe" is
  8. Keep at it, IMO its a good idea. Not for performance but for looks.
  9. Slippery slope indeed! Just looking for some extra oomph really. Ordered a Motordyne spacer and will be heading to Abbey for a re-map. If you don't think it's worth it, what would give me some additional power for a few hundred quid seeing as I've already got a Cosworth filter and Blueflame exhaust? I would get Hi flow cats as if you get decats which will give you alot more power once remapped, you might not pass the sound restrictions at some tracks. Although I would see what your cars at now e.g if its at 92 then go for decats if its 96 then I would go for hi flow cats.
  10. Update? I can get a spacer for cheap so I need to know if this is moving along or not?
  11. I wouldnt IMO it will wreck the sharpish surface of the blade.
  12. Look at cars which use 114*5 stud, Then look at the largest size of brake disc. I bet this will be the r35 gtr though. Then then see if you can borrow the setup and see if it can fit.

    Spigot rings

Would these work on spacers if they where the wrong size?
  14. GTechniq G1 http://www.gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-car ... creen-kit/ Last 2 years. Job done. Is anyone on DW from here?
  15. Do you have some SS headers? What type?
  16. sorry 3 posts in a row, why not just use a MP3 player. Most will have the size you need, low power consumption, fast data rate usb2 and you will be able to take it out of the car and use it when you go on holiday etc etc.
  17. also SSD's or pendrives have slower write speeds compared to hdd but have faster read speeds. So it will take longer to put music on there but its faster to play it. Also SSD or pendrives as they have no mechanical parts are better suited to a car IMO bumps and shocks wont effect them and they wont skip.
  18. Solid state drives SSD's are generally faster but more expensive. Most usb drives need power as well as just usb. If your going for an external hard drive I would say get anyone. An old 5400rpm would be fast enough for your needs. ideally 7200rpm is better as it has better search times. You could get a huge usb pen drive if they exist and you wouldnt need external power. Lastly you could get a caddy or enclosure which takes and ide/sata hdd and turns it into a usb one. If your getting one of those go for a samsung spinpoint f3 but get the 1tb one. Most good hdd start at 500gb. If your going for a sata SSD make sure it has TRIM support. You best bet is the first 2 options IMO. Formatting wise you can do it yourself at home takes 2 mins is super easy. I would say partion it as FAT32.
