  1. If you are happy with the bose and the fm still isnt working you can get a pure highway which gets dab and sends it to your headunit via FM.
  2. Are you sure its a UK headunit? Does it tune to 106? Unplug the band expander if your running a UK headunit as it serves no purpose. you will be tuning into weird frequecies then. A band expander doesnt change the freq you see on you HU only on the actual freq. Very basic example is headunit says 89.9 but you are tuned into 94.9.
  3. +1. I have used last touch and demon shine. IMO last touch feels like a more expensive product which it is. Its slighly thicker and spreads pretty nice. I use this when drying my car so its a drying aid also. Leaves a nice deep shine and tops up beading. There is alot of ways to use demon shine. Firstly you can slightly dilute it and throw it over your car and drive off. I personally find it works better undiluted in a spray bottle. Again I use this as a top up and drying aid. If your car is dry Im sure you can dilute it more but at £5 for 2 bottles who cares. Its more watery than LT. Its also doesnt smell as nice. But the shine is on par with it. Beading seems good but a lil tighter on LT but it could have been the rain that day. All in all good stuff for the price and its an excellent first QD spray.
  4. You mean band expender I take it? If its a UK bose or Uk head unit you should need the band expander.
  5. My mate was running some dengy scrap yard second tyres they where rubbish. I got him to get some falkens ziex 912s for 33quid each off camskill and its 100x better. Some times tyres are expensive and wont have much grip but they last forever. Toyos will be softer than the nexens for sure. Also make sure you have enough brake fluid in your car.
  6. Im selling my Alpine active fully ajustable crossover. This will let you run your system active and bi-amped. Basically this does away with passive(normal) crossovers which steal power and are after the amp. This lets you run 2 amps so 1 for tweeters and one for mids. Basically this lets you have more control, power, sq and ajustabillity. Because it is before the amp the signal is already high passed or low passed so the amp is only amping what it needs to so its more effecient. Its got the usual high pass/low pass, rca in, 2 rca's out and the wiring. Its also better that the 2xs in the sence you can adjust the crossover points without making silly chips. Also its alpine so you know the quality is there. I bought this for £35 posted so im asking : http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8996/img0458nz.jpg I have loads more pics please just pm me for more £35 posted please I also have a Clarion max678rvd. The only reason Im selling is because I bought this from a member on another forum. He asked me to buy it back, I said ok when I buy another headunit. In my head Im trying to do a favour for him. I buy another headunit and he says he doesnt want it now, also trys to haggle me down on price which I bought it from when I havent used it. Rant over The Clarion max678rvd, is in mint condition. As above I havent used it since I have bought it. Its a double din unit. Full touch screen. Dvd player, dvd- + r/rw compatable. It comes with a remote, all the wiring and an Ipod connector. The ipod connector gives you full functionality over the ipod. It also charges it. If you have an Ipod video it will play the video on the big touch screen nice. As I have said its in mint condition. I can take more pictures if you would like just pm me This must have been the top of the range clarion at one time. you can also add, bluetooth,DAB radio, navigation and freeview to this headunit. Remember Clarion's are known for their SQ. Looking what I bought it for £275 posted http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/9079/img0469vp.jpg http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8907/img0475ur.jpg http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/7245/img0473p.jpg http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/1649/img0479ba.jpg If you want any info or to offer me anything please PM me
  7. I use last touch also not many people seem to use it on here. I know you can dilute it 1:1 for clay lube. I use born slippy concentrate. Excellent, cheers mate. one question though, what quick detailer would you recommend??? i have ordered megs quik clay, should i use the quick detailer packaged in that for drying and lubing the clay, or some other combination? Yeah, it should come with megs quick detailer, it'll still do the jobs, but once that runs out get some megs last touch

  9. I don't have access to a hosepipe either but I find that a watering can works well instead. My neighbours must think I'm crazy when they see me watering my car every week! Very good practise aslong as the can is clean. The rose from a watering can is one of the most delicate ways to rinse a car.
  10. You do, otherwise all the dirty water is going back into the clean shampoo water. Its not to rinse your car but to rinse you mitt/sponge.

    Debadge - Badge

I like it. I would put it where the back nissan badge is though if it were smooth.
  12. As said alot of people either use fancy sponges or sea foam sponges. I personnaly use the WOOKIE! its like washing your car with a cat. My brother perfers the megs lambswool. I see what you saying but I use the 2BM and have grit guards. I wipe the mit along the guard when dunking thefore loosening any debrais on the mitt. The grit guard sits about 10cms high so all things just go to the bottom. I get grit at the bottom of the bucket if i empty them out slowly so I just assume it works.
  13. Also 99 doesnt stay 99 forever so you are better to buy it from a busy station.
  14. Ok where do you get this stuff from, it really is like the "tardis" Its great stuff honestly. I got a 1ltr bottle from ebay as I dont need that much. But the 5ltr bottle isnt that expensive.
  15. Tardis in a spray bottle
  16. showing that you didnt know it was bp stuff doesnt that show that petrol is abit of a placebo in a way. most people fill up at their perferred stations. When they change I think they are being extra pineckty and listening out for noises. If you look on the internet you will see posts like "filled up with tesco 99, made my car run crap so im back on v power." i doubt the engine could tell too much bar the detergents. I dont think it would map its self different either. im not saying this againt regular vs super but just reg vs reg or super vs super.
  17. Bp supplies sainsburys with their fuel. Im pretty sure its the exact same.
  18. It's a clio cup car - that's how they come. It was in to have graphics done before the race season started. Im pretty sure they dont. A few guys who have 200's cups dont have them. Plus a roof scoop on a clio is pointless it slows you down as there is no air going to the engine.
  19. A guy did this on talk audio in a pull along granny bag thing. Do you know what I mean? if I know what its called il do a search for it.
  20. As an engineer there is nothing worse that making an assumption  I wouldnt say that, A very knowledgble member on both sxoc and driftworks.
  21. Kind of missing the point! +1 - they look great Fancy hunting down the designer of the 370z and doing something similar You want Randy on your teeshirt then Chris? Weird too... ajay must have restyled his sig for the teeshirt... looks nothing like the one on my engine cover!! It wasnt Ajay who signed it, It was me wearing that t shirt. You just thought I was Ajay because of it. anyways il stop spamming here GLWTS
