  1. Yes and kinda. There are cheaper things out there which do a better job. Its kinda heavy. Sound deadening needs mass for it to work. On my clio I had 4mm loudboy stuff that was heavy.
  2. Jealous of your car, it looks sooo good.
  3. +1 the honeycomb meshing type thing looks sweet.
  4. A complete engine strip is not required to replace the cams but best to remove the engine to do the job. Heads have to come off as well as the complete front end, so easier with the engine out and if you are stripped that far, then you are just as well pulling the pistons and crank and doing a refresh. Alex. Thats alot of work. I did wonder why that wasnt any cammed Z's.
  5. I wouldnt have bothered with rear speakers but if you have you will need a 4 channel amp. for the sub you will need a 1 channel amp or a 2 channel bridgable amp. TBH Im not sure the MTX will be great. Try rainbow, focal, dynadio, Legatia HAT's, MB quart.
  6. No thats a myth its crap and messy. I would say its far from a myth. For certain application it can do the job very well for a very little outlay. You may often need a few layers of it to get the same effect as Dynamat but in the right setup it can be the right stuff to go with. It gets messy if it gets hot. The principal to sound deadening is to add mass. flashing tape isnt a great way to do that. Also did you do a direct comaparson with the same audio gear? Generally if your using flashing tape your system is going to sound rubbish. Why do people use second skin and loudboys stuff. It is great at the job and isnt that expensive. Flashing tape I can assure you isnt as good. I used it and when I got some proper sound deadening which was cheap brown bread and Ivanhoe they where much much better. Try talk audio for more details.
  7. No thats a myth its crap and messy.
  8. Talk audio, pm a guy called loudboy (Darren) tell him you want some 2.5mm foil backed deadening. Its much cheaper and better.
  9. The guy from MWtech says they have been on a road car and drifted on and they are still fine.
  10. I already have a japspeed Y pipe and it seems fine but if I needed one, I would go to someone like prospeed and get a hand made xyz pipe, cat and decat made. I dont think it would cost that much.
  11. Falkens are ok but your better off with vreds or f1 asymericals IMO.
  12. I love the screens in the door. Useless but cool.
  13. 324mm on the front Im pretty sure. Its not like you can change the carrier or yokes to take a bigger disc, or easily anyway.
  14. Personally I would stay away from drilled. The ones on my 172 have cracked and dont get used that heavily.

    best oil

I hope you dont cook with olive oil. Pro S for me also. I noticed the oil pressure doesnt seem to drop much when using it compared to normal titan. After 6k miles the oil pressure would usually be lower.
  16. Why do you laugh at them? Great cars.
  17. Im getting some DC sports manifolds fitted so Il tell you how Im getting on.
  18. stay away from fli and the likes. Expensive or "better" speakers arent always better. E.g. In my first car I ran Mb quart preimums and they sounded awesome. For my clio I ran Infinty Perfects which where more expensive but I didnt like the sound they gave out. It was very detailed but a little harsh and strile. If you buy second hand then you will have enough for a sub. Also you only need to sound deaden the doors really IMO.
  19. Talkaudio. Also dynamats ok but on TA there is a guy called loudboy ask him for some 2.5mm foil backed deadening. Much better cheaper too.
  20. Get on TA and buy all your stuff second hand. Will be very very good stuff if you shop around.
  21. I like the work thats gone into the amps, but I perfered them before all granitey and speckly
