I have done but there is so much choice and people give different advice- hard to know which is best... I am only a daily driver around town... Go for standard brakes with no grooves or drilled. Drilled might crack and grooved ones will skim your pads. You dont need super track discs or anything. But I thought that was the whole purpose of grooved discs? To keep the pads fresh and not glazed over. TBH your best bet though is from a trader on here like zmanalex

172 with decat and remap can give you up to 45 mpg. Don't get a cup though. 172 is suprisingly comfy.

It's not really that simple. There is a video online showing what can happen. But you might have no steering you don't replace the fronts. Also you will have big problems when it comes to braking. If you don't plan on running tcs then get some part Worn non standard sized winter tyres.

IMO the only reason why the japspeed and the likes have flexi's is because of the shape its like a C shape. The stillen one has a better straighter design. Tarmac Il probably have one of those passenger side motors off you after xmas if you will still have them

haha, trust me, with 9 years expeience with jaguar and owning a ford, i would 100% say that the mondeo is a better car, the rear suspension on the xtype is useless, the mondeo is simple and ive had no faults with mine. the 2.0 diesel jag is a 5 speed gearbox, the mondeo is a 6 speed box, so better economy. Depends how you define better... A Mondeo is a better car than a Zed in many many ways, but none of the most important ones... Yes but the 350 isnt based on the mondeo while the jag is. Wasn't comparing them just saying the use of the word 'better' is very loose... Fair enought but the jag was built worse, had worse spec, drove worse but you was charged more for the pleasure of owning it. Just the badge that sold it .

An x type is a Mondeo just more expensive and more shoddily built.

Are you still going mid mount? Why not try running it about 400bhp then go forged when you want more power? I may be wrong but running a 600bhp car may spoil you car as a daily if you use it as one. Also I doubt you can use more than 400bhp on the road. All IMO of course. Also if you want it done cheap I would get a container and ship them to USA and get it done there. You could also ship back other stuff on the way back.
