  1. Most guys on ebay are legit, just make sure you get a UK code not a USA code. They usually email you a code and bang its done. I have used 3 different people for 3 years and no problems with any of them. Also it works out cheaper for a 12+1 or a 13 month one.
  2. Was going to take a picture but though meh no one cares lol. It was -14c in some bits but generally around dundee it was -11c still bloody cold. Stew, you Aberdonians must be used to this, its like summer for you guys lol. I heard it was really bad in Stovehaven so if your more north then its even colder I suppose.
  3. I have front cusco arms and rear eibach arms, guy who fitted them said it was proper good stuff. if your getting arms put in you should get some bigger/stiffer ARB's aswell IMO I felt a big difference on the road so on track should be great.
  4. Vertex spoiler is nice, chargespeed rear with diffuser, n1 skirts and maybe a v1 or a v2 front. 20" te37's at the back and 19"s at the front. Slammed.
  5. Polo you have left the best bit out, the hockey pucks
  6. any fault codes? Best get it to a garage if they are open?
  7. That really is shocking as it could be peoples lived on the line. One of my employees went to the grit depot in Arbroath and asked for some they said no you can't have any. It was raining ands it's kept outside so the salt is being washed away! When I'm driving home there is alot a black ice and people drive like loons. Take extra care peoples and triple your travel time. Go slow be safe I would hate for anyone to have even a small accident
  8. is it just primer under the wrap not blade?
  9. Hell no the Scottish are way better at handling the snow. Aberdeenshire usually gets snow at the end of July . It's been snowing quite heavy here but most people are going about their business.
  10. 19" gtrs looks hot in Any colour. Agreed though I'd wait till after the snow/grit/winter finishes otherwise the polished lip might get ruined and it would be a shame on such nice wheels
  11. It's funny most people drive just the same on the clear bits although I'm sure i have felt black Ice and if I wasn't going slow then . So most people drive past me where's it's clean but once it starts snowing or if the roads haven't been cleared then winter tyres come into their own. The hailstone ATM are so heavy and they cover the road swell but it's all good with winter tyres. As I usually come home about 4am the roads sometimes are terrible. They only seem to be cleared at 9/10pm or 5/6am so I'm in-between. Also anyone else noticed that they are only moving the snow and not gritting it much. They was gritting slightly last night but it was -2c and I could swear it was spreading in stingy mode.
  12. Don't blame you tbh. In Arbroath it's warmer and all snow is melting and it's flooded all the roads. It's right next to the sea!
  13. That's a good job as it's usually on a little downhill bit isn't he/she.

    Snow Shoes

Tbh any are better than summer. I'm running conti winter contact 790p. The updated wintercontacts 810 ate ment to be really good aswell. My brother is running some falken snowziex or something I think. There is a website that compares them but usually more snow grip means less life and they drive less like summer tyres. I have had no wheel spin and they don't aqua plane. Also they really bite into snow And are very quiet on motorways.

    Snow Shoes

Wheres that? http://www.rockshore.uk.com/snow-socks- ... -269-p.asp click on application list they have a set to fit that size but not 35's Ahh yes, they have a size bigger, but its roughly 1" too large from what I looked at before. The smaller one is slightly too small too. None in the middle Yes very annoying looking like I'm going to buy a banger just in case....my only problem is its 120 mile to work!! need something reliable as well...that'll push the price up!!! Winter tyres?
  16. I got my winter tyres on my 172 so its finem, although the griiters arent gritting only ploughing the snow to the side of the road. The snow on the side of the road is quite high and is now iced over. SO no one is getting on today. I just shoveled mine and my brothers car out and its nearly 5 am now. Stupid snow ploughers no one can leave their street now as drives and kerbs are all iced over.
  17. I havent wheel spun once personally, but my car is fwd. studs IMO is OTT plus with winter tyres you can drive at 5c at 70mph nice and peacful not much wear either. studs would out super quick and they are noisy and they would give you less grip when its not deep snow. Love to know how they are on a 350 though.
  18. I have winter tyres on and they are great for snow and water aswell. Today was snowing really heavily in my hood but it was all melting where I work. The roads where pretty much flooded with some snow still on them, how do the snow socks deal with that? Does the sock stop the water being pumped out by the tyre? I might get some for my 350
  19. I have the Continental WinterContact TS 790. they are fitted them to the 172 and they are awesome. No aquaplaning. Have driven them in -4 so far and no problem. No onebit of wheel spin, even in snow.

    accelera tyres

    Try mytyres or tyremen

    accelera tyres

Uniroyals RS2 arent an out in out sports tyre IMO but its quieter than GSD-3's and are epic in the wet, really really good. Dry grip is 7/10 but wet grip is pretty much equal to dry grip no joke. The sidewalls are a little soft and they dont have the best grip outright. Also I didnt find them as good as any other tyre when hot they perfer warm/wet.

    1 Eibach spring

That's why I'm pretty miffed. I doubt they will pay for labour costs my point was if you got in contact with them they would probably replace the springs saving you £££ I have but its a complicated procedure because I bought brand new from a forum member. Thanks
  25. Don't have any pics but there is a 350z that runs over a cat in American dad. The one where Steve gets the old scabby cat.
